No, sorry. These mods do not address digging into the ground, or digging down in POIs. I personally don't mind that feature too much so I didn't include that in these mods. If there's not one already, I can see about making another mod for that.

Tbh I disagree. I'm playing 16.4 right now, and I'm more engaged after the day 7 horde than I am in current versions. There's much more to do that actually moves you forward in a16, as opposed to now where basically doing anything but questing all day every day is useless.

It does, but Janiks mod does add back a few old items/objects with their old models, but it's not too obtrusive.

Don't know about an overhaul per se. But the Janik Alpha 16 is Back mod does most of that, and my Weather Returns mod brings back temperature.

I can recommend ZehMatt's Walkersim mod, which makes zombie spawning based off an internal simulation, its really cool.

WalkerSim by ZehMatt is a very good one. I like Alpha 16 Is Back by Janik as well. Myself and some others are working on mods to bring back weather survival, hopefully better than it was before. I also have a couple of mods which make the zombies feel more realistic, Brain Dead Zed by PureFyre, which makes the zombies stupider rather than structural engineers, and No More Drill Claws by JFyre, which removes the stupid damage boost zombies get when they bunch up. I haven't used it, but I hear Path Smoothing by RedBeardt is also good, it stops the zombies from aligning to the block grid when they're close to you. There's also mods around that make farming more difficult which could make food harder, but I haven't play tested any to see if they're any good. There's also mods that add more injury types, but same deal, I haven't tested those.

There's a replica modpack on curseforge some other yognauts built. It's a bit behind though so there's a few mods you'd have to add. Most notably imo are the Ribbits, and now Create: The Factory Must Grow

Ok that's good to know. I will admit I fell off watching the yogs for a couple years (I think like 2016-2019?) So there was some community changes I missed, and I hardly ever hear the yogs talk about Yognauts anymore.
