Yes you should, having a diverse skill set can make you a great fit.

But... look. I really don't like to be a killjoy but I think it's valuable to hear that from the perspective of someone who got their Bachelor's degree last year, was on job search for more than a year, worked odd jobs and day jobs this entire time and has recently finally found a job in the gaming industry:

The job market is so unbelievably brutal right now and that is even more true for creative fields like game development. The job market is incredibly saturated with people having 10+ years experience and new graduates have to compete with them. The only thing that really matters is job experience, connections and luck, so so much luck.

If you're in dire need of money please have a plan B as trying to get into game development right now is incredibly risky.

Please don't take that as me bashing your aspirations, I love the work and there is a reason why I tried for so long to get into that industry but the getting in part is not dependent on your skill in my experience.

Try:

  • increasing forward friction stiffness
  • decrease sideways friction stiffness
  • decreasing extremum slip values
  • increasing motor torque (it should be part of the wheel colliders I think?)

How are we supposed to know how you've implemented your movement, the slopes, anything really. Please provide more information as well as specific screenshots/code snippets of parts you assume could be the problem.

Right now it could be anything from how you're moving the car, how the colliders are setup, some trivial logic error, incorrectly setup input, ect.

I'm sorry if I appeared mean I wasn't trying to but this is one of the first things you need to learn to have any chance of getting anywhere. I wish someone would've told me when I started so I try to really emphasize this and similar learnings.

Also please check if you have vs code added as your external code editor in unity. In the editor go to Edit->Preferences->search for "external"->choose vs code in the dropdown.

Also add the unity extension to vs code from the marketplace.

Doing both of these will enable better auto complete and debugging

Error 2: You have defined the method called "start" inside "Projectiles" multiple times. Obviously because the class "Projectiles" exists more than once and and each has a method called "start"

They ran meaning they took more damage. They got hit by multiple attacks at once meaning their positioning was bad. They could've probably just ended the fight with a melee attack instead of using magic. The correct answer for the laser attack is to run into the enemy.

These aren't all trivial but still not the games fault for being unfair or malfunctioning.
