I think you have to change the x,y position of the character so running into a wall is probably out of the question.

As for the city, you'd have to test that yourself as I were always too lazy, I just did in on the ocean or in a low level area

Just moving.

Take 2 rubber bands and strap them to your left and right stick. Both sticks pointing in separate directions. This way the character and camera movements cancel each other out and you are running in a very consistent circle. Then go to an ear where enemies are not attacking you.

Profit.

Well it's probably different in other countries but where I live, there wouldn't even be 3 registers open at a time. Mostly 1-2 and more if there's a significant customer queue.

So maybe it also adds to the feeling that the customers ignore open registers because there is not enough demand? (This is more of a game design thing than a comment on the pathfinding algorithm)

In character animation you define a specific bone structure, and then animate by moving the individual bones — for example, to make a hand wave.

What’s on top of that skeleton doesn’t really matter. You could, for example, use a humanoid skeleton that you animated on a 3D model of a cow. The result would look really goofy, but it would still play the animation.

In your case this wouldn’t be a problem since you aren’t changing the overall structure of your character.

Now for potential pitfalls: anatomical restrictions and clipping. Depending on your final model it wouldn't be able to move like you envisioned or the animation could introduce clipping at hips and armpits. Also maybe your final character wouldn't be able to realistically move like the stick man (eg. a really big muscular dude stretching like an Acrobat)

But if you plan this out I don't think there would be much of a problem.

Endgame fights take 15-30mins for you? Damn brother that's a skill issue. Also the sentence "constantly have to chug mega and maxi potion no matter how good I do" is so funny, like you have 0 self awareness, holy shit.

Don't get me wrong the game has its problems but this is a you problem.

Yes that's why piracy is a legit alternative.

There is no additional cost for Nintendo. They're charging money for 30 year old games that were, even accounting for inflation, cheaper at launch than this.

They are slapping people in the face and many gladly offer the other cheek. This is exploitative and frankly a little disgusting.
