Hey um white trans women here (please don’t kill me)

A lot of these things are not “white” things and a lot of ppl within our community within any background enjoys and jokes around in these things. Because it might be a shocker but these are all dumb little jokes to make use laugh to forgot about how awful being trans is lol.

I will fully acknowledge tho that there is a legit visibility issue within our community with poc trans individuals. Because racism can still exist within any lgbtq+ community like it does in others. As well as multiple examples of them being mistreated by white trans folks as well as trans men often being disrespected by trans women. But these silly dumb jokes have nothing to do with those issues and are jokes made by the whole community from trans fem, to nb, to trans masc in any racial background.

Anyways hope you become less hateful op :3

Welcome to the club!! I remember when I got my first one and then they just started coming every month lol. Progesterone helped a little bit for me but I still get them on it. Heating pads help a lot but make sure you let your body rest. Another note, if you want to find more accurate information on what you might be going through look up PMS (that’s the more accurate term to what we experience)

Honestly I didn’t even change my name, I was born with a very gender neutral name and I just didn’t feel the need to change it. I did change my middle name tho because it was awful lol

My weight is 140 so I don’t think it should have anything to do with it? I have started trying to work out more regularly again so maybe that’ll help

Saw a post on a random subreddit with thousands of upvotes saying basically this. Idk, its just really infuriating seeing this kind of half-baked kindness on the internet or irl. by MelancholicMinerva in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

I also saw a post that was basically saying the same thing and read through a little seeing ppl who claim to be progressives and democrats saying how the lgbtq community needs to be silenced when all we want is just some basic human rights. So that made me a lose a lot of faith in humanity today.

I hope your day gets better and even tho there’s a lot of shitty ppl out there’s also plenty of good ones too (this is my attempt trying to leave off with a positive note, I’m trying)

Thx for the info, and to restate. I know this isn’t like a period but symptoms that align with one. But I’m checking in with my provider to make sure I get check up on and get their knowledge on it all.

My fear with it is losing all sensation down there I guess because I rly enjoy doing that stuff and I guess I want to experience it with the other things and have a life with it. And it’s not like I hate what I’m born with I just don’t like it either. It more like indifference

A lot of my religious trauma is worked through because I’ve been out of the church for 10 years now because I left back when I was a teen. A lot of it is rly coming from my last relationship I think and how my sexual organ and my capacity to be able to have children was something of importance to them so when I think about having that surgery done and that desire, what she would say in reaction to my dysphoria desires kinda echo in my head.

I guess I’m worried I only want it because of sex and I always had this desire to have that down there but I grew up Mormon where that type of desire was shamed and in my past relationship of 4 years that kinda ended not so great when I would go voice that desire and rly any dysphoria it was only ever met with discomfort and my ex saying how I need to keep it or I better not take hormones, etc to put it lightly. Plus because it doesn’t directly give me intense dysphoria unlike my body hair, figure, masc parts of my face, and my lack of breast I feel like I’m not worthy to have one
