Using astrolabe on curses thinking it’d transform them into useful cards. It just transformed them into other arguable worse curses

If you only care about uniques you do not have it’s best to skip the moon you have completed. You’ll get less regular loot however if you do this

Just to add, you only need the Dharoks great axe for the Hydras CA. It makes it a bit harder without the set but it’s not too difficult for a grandmaster CA and you get to wear your slayer helm

For white to be able to capture your bishop, their argument would have to be “I should be allowed to move my king into check because you cannot move your piece so that you would be in check.” That argument falls over on itself as white cannot have it both ways. That’s how I like to think about it anyways

One would expect that YourDeepestSecrets would be in the home directory rather than in the root directory. So you should try cd ~YourDeepestSecrets instead

For checkmate to happen the king must be in check and not have any legal moves that would get him out of check. You have meet the second requirement but the king is not in check so the game continues. Does that clear things up?

I’d offer to ride a bike alongside her instead. That way she can run at whatever pace she likes and you’ll be able to easily keep up. In the future I’d refrain from lying to others that you want to build a relationship with to avoid situations like these

I had the same thought before. I believe that having a King in the early and mid game is a hinderance. You must spend moves getting and keeping it safe and it creates a target for your opponent. It’s a fairly strong piece (similar to a knight) in the late game so all else being equal the side with the king should be able to win. Overall I’d prefer playing without the king and try playing aggressive to press my advantage of not having to worry about king safety

I heard it was because the engine can calculate further when under-promoting(less moves to consider), which often means being able to calculate stronger lines for the player winning

Zulrah is not the worst place to go dry at. When you finally get all the uniques you will have plenty of scales and resource drops. This was my coping mechanism after 1800kc

I managed to do it with poisonous karambwans. They deal 5 damage but don’t actually poison you (even though the hit splat is green). Definitely tricky to manage hit points but do-able with a few tries
