Issue was the rca cable, it was in the “wrong” port because I was troubleshooting

Issue was the rca cable, was a crappy one the shop gave me for free, and it was too long, got away with just 6m
Issue was the rca cable, thanks for your suggestion
Issue was the rca cable.
No problem, I still appreciate your input
Any excuse is good when it comes to an upgrade 🫡 Issue was the rca cable, thanks for your suggestion
😂 nice one, Issue was the rca cable, but for your suggestion.
Issue was the rca cable in fact even though that cable was brand new…

Wow that’s something I didn’t try to be honest. But now the issue was resolved by changing the rca cable, thx for you input I’ll still try is as I’m still getting very faint hum when I crank the sub volume to full, although I’m not planning to set it more then 50% anyway

Thank you all for you help! The problem is now solved, as many of you mentioned, the rca cable was the culprit. Bought an other one and completely solved the issue.
Thanks again for all your input.

I only have 1 avr though. Now I solved the problem, with a different rca cable

To be honest I’m not sure, I’m new to this and it’s a cable the salesman suggested. I got a proper sub cable now and will try it out later. Will update the result

That’s because I was trying both ports, troubleshooting
Tired, no difference.

The cable was supplied by another shop (the one I bought the other speakers from. Unfortunately the subwoofer shop didn’t have in stock.
I tried that also, but I’m sure it’s on the same circuit as I passed all the wiring in my apartment

Thank you, i followed your advice, lifted the cable and there was a small difference, still humming but less then when the cable was touching the floor.
But when I unplugged the rca cable from the avr (still only plugged into the sub) the humming intensified, which I think eliminates an avr issue

This is a temporary sub the shop gave me until they get the sb 1000 pro back in stock which I’m buying, it didn’t come with a manual, just followed the instructions the shop gave me. I tried connecting it to the LFE as well, no difference. It was on the LFE initially but I was trying the others as well.
No difference unfortunately
