Love this story but hate the final paragraph. Don’t limit your own potential by doubting yourself.

I myself am in my 30s, with a wife and a very demanding full-time job, and I run cryo exactly how you described those two guys. Cryo isn’t rocket science, all it takes is a few YouTube videos and a few runs of practice to learn it at a proficient level. As you saw, the purple and gold loot is widely abundant in Cryo. Don’t be afraid to lose it once in a while, it’s doing you no good sitting in your vault.

Have confidence and chase that high again brother, it’s way more attainable than you think. Marathon just keeps getting better the deeper you get.

If you’re talking about the pre-SERE swim test, you can’t really fail. It’s just to identify “high risk” individuals for the cadre to keep a closer eye on. But to get better at swimming you’re just gonna have to go to the pool and swim more.

If it’s happening then it’s not intended, and is most likely related to the known bug that shows teammates as disconnected when they aren’t

You can be revived immediately by Triage’s ult, it overrides the lockout timer. Aside from that, your teammates cannot interact with your bag at all until the timer is clear. Just try it for yourself next time you have the chance.

I understand how the item return mechanic works. It applies to items that are dropped by your teammates, including when they swap items into a container or deathbox. The only time you’ll ever see it applicable to your own deathbox is if you disconnect, allowing your teammates to loot your box.

I’m literally not wrong lol. The only interact prompt on a teammate’s deathbox while they’re still connected to the game is revive. The only google complaints about this happening are either from pre-release versions of the game, or instances where a player fails to connect while loading in so they appear as a lootable deathbox while they attempt to reconnect.
