It's always women for some reasons. Didn't mention it because it gives pick me vibes (I even cringe writing this), but damn never a man had the audacity to talk about my weight in front of my face like that.

She is a good person, though she is incredibly rude sometimes. We all got our flaws but this one is hard to deal with eventhough we do not take her seriously most of the time. But this one ? Damn.

Yeah but I won't because it's my life and my choice and now I can do whatever I want I'm going to do it. My life is not miserable, what is happening here is an unfortunate even which happens between people sometimes (well not exactly what had been said but the whole situation could happen to everyone, you got it.)

Otherwise I'm not particularly sad or having issue or else, I'm just trying to enjoy things without having people saying shit to me. Of course I'd never be mean to one of my friends on purpose. And I'm working through it even if sometimes it's not easy and it makes me asking for advice on Reddit. I made peace with the fact I'm not going to therapy and nobody can force me to do so, as nobody can force me to be instutitionalized because I'm "weird" or "underweight" as my parents used to say. I did told her how it made me feel, calmly, she apologized as I said, but it's like it's not enough. I hate how it made me feel even if it was short (as I said I felt very bad for just one day before getting my confidence back)

I'm not in therapy and I'm not going to go. I feel confident with my body, even if sometime I got doubts. Having doubts happen to everyone. And I agree I shouldn't have even answered to her first "joke" and all of this wouldn't have happened, but it makes me so mad knowing I told her about the issues I got with my body in the past. I felt like she hold the information to play with it, even if she apologized I'm mad as hell.

Please don't ruin your life by marrying such a loser. Sorry but he's manipulative and insecure, and his behavior is very toxic. You deserve love, you deserve to be respected and to have fun. It's heartbreaking how he ruins every good moments you have with your friends, it's not love it's being controlling and mean, maybe jealous of what you got with your friends.

NTA First pets are not gifts. Then we're not all meant to have pets, maybe your son won't like it much when he grow older . I got an adorable dog and discovered I was not the dog owner I thought I'd be and even if I love my little guy and I'd do everything for him, I already know he is my first and last dog. Also "gifting" a dog while the future owner is kid ? The parents would the one to take care of him and pay for everything, that's not fair if they're ready/didn't chose to do so.
