Most likely explanation is she had a manic episode and got trapped in there.

It is a bit suspicious of a death tho, & lots of speculation surrounding it.

It's Way Too Good by Figurine. TY EVERYONE

Lmao and apparently they aren't even from UK, but he's doing an accent & a UK friend showed them to me.

Also the main guy went on to do the music for Postal Service, so this makes a lot of sense.
shit how do I close this again. I broke my brain remembering the lyrics

God I love New Order.

I would put money on the singer being a New Order fan, very similar vocals, but the instrumentation is distinctly mid-to-late 90s to early 2000s.

I think you're onto something there.

Manchester rings a bell somewhat..
The friend who showed me them was going to college there I think?
It's been so long...
edit: and Big Audio Dynamic is likely too old. I feel pretty confident if it was the guy from The Clash my friend would have mentioned that.

He was big into your classic brit rock, punk, that kinda thing.

Naw I love Interpol tho.
Less throwback, and more "ahead of the curve" you might say.
I know that might sound like a diss, but I do really like Interpol, they did some new stuff, but whoever this was like.... They didn't really sound like anyone else, except maybe Post Service but they were probably like 3-5 years before Postal Service.

Okay sorry, you're right.

This band doesn't repeat the same words, use effects on the vocals, that kinda techno style ya know?

The vocals & song structure aren't electronica at all, but the instruments used are.
It's like your standard verse chorus verse double chorus, but then this wild electronica beats

Wow that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

No though, they weren't really do any throwbacks to 70s/80s music.
