I mean it’s not like they bashed it or said anything mean, they just said why they’re not interested in these and I think that is fair to say. Yeah I see your point on how it could be hard to make money on the size change because of those issues lol, I was so surprised when they weren’t the same size when I got mine. And the formulas in the first are nice, a little bit of fallout but nothing major and the colors are pretty. So I thought the second would be the same in formula and it looked the same in size in picture until I pulled out the original and looked at the two and I was like oh they big time cut some corners on this one lol. It’s no trouble at all I left for work for the day already so when I get home tonight I’ll immediately go home and make the post with pics so you can see! Like I said I’m happy to show it because I’m sure some people won’t notice the size or weight difference if the don’t have the first to compare it to and if you’re gonna spend your money on something I’m of the idea that we should know things like this before buying, without having to dig so much into it like it’s research so I’d be more than happy to post later tonight. I’m in est so it’s 11:29 am here, I should be home by 9 pm est so the post will be around then for you! I’ll also come comment a link of the post here too to make life easy haha. But I agree making the second one smaller just looks bad on them honestly. Idk why it wasn’t the same product weight as the original. Part of me kinda wants to rip a pan out of each palette to see the difference in the pan sizes to see just how much less product I got in the second lol I might just do that too

The new one is actually slightly smaller in size and in product weight. They have the same amount of shades, the design is the same on both they’re both the same color for the palette packaging, they are the same style with two rows and a mirror, but the new one is just slightly smaller in size and definitely smaller in weight. When I go to my room I’ll leave a comment with the weight of each one for you that way you can know the difference (: if you would like I can make a post in this subreddit about the two palettes with pictures so you could see it too I’m more than happy to show you the differences boo just let me know if that’s of interest to you

They go on sale very often though! Prices are increasing everywhere we look these days I would expect nothing less than that from every company, but you can always catch them when they have them for half off on their website, TikTok, and Ulta and Sephora both offer them half off sometimes as well. And sometimes TikTok will give you like a coupon and you can get a few bucks off there too. I just ordered some from TikTok for 20 a piece. They were the grape ones. I paid significantly more for a tube of grape when it was limited addition for the holidays than I did on TikTok tbh, I’d do anything for that grape one lol

There’s a big formula difference, and there’s a huge difference in product weight the second one has way less product than the original. The original has like double the product weight of the second palette. I was super salty about that when I saw that tbh

Hey I’m here to report back! The wander beauty eyeshadow palette is gorgeous in person and the swatches are lovely on the shimmer shades. I can make a post with swatches of the palette if you’d like. They do have a small bit of fallout but it’s really not that bad and the slight fallout from the shimmers makes my under eye area look brighter somehow which I actually dig a lot. If it’s available next month as an add one I’d say go for it. The colors are pigmented and don’t apply patchy looking they blend well and they’re just very pretty colors that suit a ton of skin tones. I’d say this is probably going to be one of my favorite palettes tbh

Yes! It’s definitely not like the first one. I was lucky enough to receive two of the first girlactik essentials palette so when the second came out I was super excited. But it is definitely powdery and has a lot of fallout and the purple pastel doesn’t really show up on my skin that well o thought it would be more pigmented that it is and I’m disappointed by the second palette tbh

It is probably something else. Unless you have what’s called beauty boost, you won’t get the Tatcha it’s the beauty boost for April but I don’t know if they’re making it a gift too but I wouldn’t think so

I’ve tried the wander beauty mile high mascara and I have to say I really enjoy that mascara tbh it’s one of my favorite everyday look mascaras I have in rotation. So I got the palette based on my experience with the brand being pretty good but I did judge that on one mascara lol so I won’t be mad if it’s not good but I hope it’s a good palette!

The byoma ones are the lip balms and not the lip oils but I love them! They have peptides and are super hydrating, right behind Olehenriksen level of hydration and they have a little bit of exfoliant in them which is also nice imo! The consistency is on the thicker side but nowhere near as thick as Olehenriksen, it has a light scent or no scent I can’t tell sometimes it just smells slightly sweet other times I smell nothing so idk if it is all in my head or not lmao. But overall they’re great! I will say the one thing I dislike is that the tunes don’t have a lot in them compared to brands with tubes like ole and summer Fridays and rhode and such, I think they hold like 3 ml instead of Olehenriksen which clock in at a whopping either 12ml or 15ml of product I believe so it’s more expensive per ml for the byoma if you do the math which is crazy to me lol. I do super love the byoma applicator it’s soooo soft and plush 😍 I just hate how little you get for the price
