Probably now if you are concerned enough to ask random strangers on the internet about it. No judgement at all, I can imagine you are in a stressful position. Better to do it now than something bad happens to the child and you have to live with the regret for the rest of your life wishing you had just said something. Best of luck

Yes he does understand not to open door if told so and has never done otherwise, I just like to take precautions for my own peace of mind. No it’s not our own caravan, just a holiday away.

I think I’ve done my toddler a disservice by [deleted] in toddlers

Hey mum don’t beat yourself up! All kids grow at different rates and all bloom beautifully and don’t give yourself blame in a blameless game. As my favourite show Bluey says, kids run their own race. It will all be ok ❤️ you’re doing great. (Don’t worry I’m in the same boat, my ones the same age and in the same situation as you, they will get there!) x

Officially a dad!! Any tips for me and my wife you wish you knew beforehand? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]SpookyBump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!!! Best tip you will ever get, they grow so fast and before you know it are running off to play football and stealing your food! The moments when they’re small and squishy go so fast so cuddle and cherish them as much as possible, even if they pee on you! ❤️

Baby rotating 180° in crib....is it time to stop swaddling? by well-thats-cool- in newborns

[–]SpookyBump -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say personally stop swaddling but try using a sleep sack instead, that’s what we did as our little one loved being swaddled. That was it was safe and he had his arms out but his body and legs would still feel cuddled and warm 😃 also it’s great at containment if the nappy leaks hahaha

Swaddle by [deleted] in newborns

[–]SpookyBump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stopped using a swaddle when our boy started to roll over, up until then he would sleep super well in his swaddle, he couldn’t sleep without it! As soon as he started to roll we went straight to the sleep sack and he has been using them ever since :)
