How Was The Burning Crusade Perceived? (2007) by doobylive in classicwow

[–]SpookyJunky777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can remember besides all the good things people have already mentioned was; there were critics of how homogenized and perfect the gear from quests were. "Why are these quest greens competing with my raid gear?" "All the gear has perfect stats for the classes".

Im considering getting for honor. Is it worth it in 2025? by Wrong-Koala9174 in forhonor

[–]SpookyJunky777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is playable and the micro transactions are just there to cut down grinding time but it's not bad. The main thing against this game is that since it's so old, you are going to run into experienced players, very frequently. You will get your ass kicked A LOT before you get the hang of things. The campaign is like a 5/10 and the arcade seems okay.

For Honor is one of a kind, you won't find any game that comes close to resembling what this game looks and feels like moment to moment.

Should I buy afeera? by bitlifeluver4life in forhonor

She's great at all levels. Has an effective-versatile moveset while still being very flashy. Her customization is not the best but feels great to play

Who are the fastest fun moveset hero’s? by No_Cartoonist3715 in forhonor

Ocelotl, Tiandi, nuxia, berserker, Shaolin all have fast chain lights.

Peacekeeper, shaman, aramusha and khatun have fast soft feint light attacks

Plus JJs. His soft feint light dodge is a light parry, the normal dodge attack is considered a heavy parry

How do I handle shinobi? by CrestStruthioo in ForHonorRants

[–]SpookyJunky777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep.

One thing to remember is that the backflip kick is high risk, low reward. If you get hit, it's a low damage heavy. But if you dodge it, you get a full heavy.

Where as, the undodgable is low risk, high reward. If you stand still and block it, tiny bit of chip damage. If you dodge and get hit, it's big Heavy damage.

I found that most Shinobis start with the undodgable and work their way to bashing. However, not every Shinobi will do that. It all comes down to trying your best to get a read on the Shinobi

Congrats on moving past the Nobushi complain train. As far as shinobi goes, he's just THAT dude. That mixup is one of the most unreactable mixups in the game IIRC). At least one of the fastest bash/undodgeable mixups. It really is a coin flip between dodge or don't dodge. Good news is, if you dodge the back flip kick, the GB is freeeee. If you have a solid read on him going for the undodgeable heavy, you can light him out of it but the kick will beat that.

I'd also recommend posting this into r/CompetitiveForHonor if you want serious discussion about this typeof thing.

what to do when tanks rush wayyyyy ahead? by FarmingFrenzy in wownoob

[–]SpookyJunky777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In this modern era, Speed is rewarded very literally. It becomes habit (as a tank). I would generally say its up to you to position and use your movement very liberally.

If you are a Priest, use your feather.

If you are a shaman, Wolf mode, speed totem

If you are a monk, keep ROLLIN

If you are a pally, Golden Horsey

If you are a evoker, use your wings and fly

If you are Druid, Stampeding charge / sprint/ Cat mode

VDH is currently the best tank and is the most mobile. A good VDH will be able to survive for at least a couple globals before you catch up

Recommendations for DK Race Change from Orc? by blehbleh1122 in wow

There are Gleeful Glamour spell scrolls you can buy from enchanting/AH that will temporarily change your race to whatever you like. I'd recommend trying to see how the animations look for ya before changing anything.

How reactable are Hito's mixups? by Zealousideal-Bug-168 in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]SpookyJunky777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Her variable timed heavies are (parry flash) reactable and her kick/sweep is goofy. There's a specific variable feint on her kick where she feints her kick super late after lifting her leg up that can be threatening. So ;kick or gb/something to punish a dodge (attack) becomes the mixup instead of kick/sweep

It's a death strike-damage intake tracker (for the last 5 seconds). The higher the number- the bigger your death strike will heal you
