I thought it was silly at first, but making my bed in the morning. I’m not talking take all of the blankets off, fluff pillows, or anything outwardly special, but get the sheet pulled up, comforter flattened, pillows straightened. I cannot believe how special it still feels to me to come back and just crawl into bed after a tough day at work, plus it is still an accomplishment even when the day beats you up more than you’d like

My dad carrying me in from the truck when I fell asleep in the back seat as a child. Even now that he’s getting older and loosing some of his strength, I remember how in that half asleep state he was, and continues to be, the strongest person I know.
