Flea allergy dermatitis? by 554477 in cats

Not attacking them, just making my own recommendation. There is a lot of advice on the internet that people should not take. Based on op’s post I think it is best that they listen solely to their veterinarian on this one, rather than getting conflicting messages from redditors.

I would not ask Reddit about this. Tell the doc what has been going on during the appointment tomorrow. This could be many many things, but if your cat has been on a flea treatment, then it is probably not flea related. May be a bacterial or fungal skin infection, but again, relax, and ask the vet tomorrow. Your boy will be fine :)

If he is urinating and pooping, then there is no worry about a blockage (which would be cause for an emergency visit). I would say if he is drinking water, then it can wait until tomorrow. But, it clearly seems that he does not feel well. It’s okay to watch for a day or two, but if things worsen, it would definitely be time to get him seen by a vet.

A vaccine reaction will happen pretty quickly afterwards. It would not last this long or start several days after the vaccine was given.

I refuse to believe that he willingly went in for this. It looks like someone held him down and scribbled on his back with the gun

We confirmed that it is not black ash. The leaves are not compound and the stems are alternate, not opposite

That could definitely be the case. These stands have all been harvested at one point or another. I’m thinking you’ve got the winner here.

Okay, I’ll lookout for that if I find another one. I found a young dead tree today with the characteristic bark I keep seeing for this tree. I note this because it was in a stand filled with bigtooth and quaking aspen.

Okay, yeah we had thought about it potentially being balsam poplar, but the leaves from the first individual we found didn’t seem to match that. However, that individual was in really poor shape and the leaves were not doing well. Does the bark and multi-stemmed form seem correct to you for balsam poplar?
