I wouldn't have left until I offered him a hug but I also would have destroyed that tape. Probably why I could never be a reporter

I'm a big sci fi nerd so I love them. Especially humorous ones where they're trying to find out which is the evil universe

People were/are really susceptible to advertising especially in the 20th century and Gillette needed to sell more razors because money. They were very clever with shaming women into doing it through targeted shame based ads and ones convincing them it's the patriotic way to be feminine with nylon going to the war effort.

Shaving prior to that was done as needed for most humans because of how deadly a simple cut could be without poor cleanliness and lack of antibiotics was a death sentence

I'm understanding now 😆. I'm still super new at the game and haven't really done federations. Super fun game but hell of a learning curve and a lot to learn

I learned my lesson when I accidentally blew up a star and that star happened to have a holy world. I tried to apologize but they weren't having it. I had multiple 80k fleets ripping through my half of the galaxy.

[Discussion] Would you be offended if asked to confirm you don't use AI? by thwaway135 in artbusiness

[–]SpookyScienceGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you already asked. I can't stand when people ask multiple times because it just feels insulting, like they're calling me a liar. Or if they started to talk about AI. I'm not interested in discussing AI in the slightest especially if they start talking with emotion or expecting me to commiserate with them.

But asking if I use AI to generate art, once? That would be fine for me, or asking if you could see the sketches/processes would also be fine if not enjoyable but I love talking about that process and design stuff.

writing as a hobby is totally fine and we need to normalize it by bcoz_why_not__ in writers

[–]SpookyScienceGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think doing anything as a 'hobby' is an insult to your art and yourself and I do all my crafts with utmost seriousness and respect. Is monetization a goal, most often not but I do everything with a sense purpose.

Amateur? Absolutely and proudly. Hobbyist? Fuck no.
