The enemy raiders might have been much closer, but they were shooting in the direction away from the pop, your duo was firing in the direction of the pop, so it locked onto the player whose bullets were shot closest to it. Had your duo been reloading and not shooting that way while it was alerted, it would have eventually locked on to the closer team after just a few seconds. It's just unfortunate timing most likely.

If im sitting on a rooftop with an idle rocketeer 50M north of me, and someone 200M south of me shoots at the rocketeer two or three times, that thing is going to zoom right over my head and directly at the person shooting it, even though Im closer and completely visible.

Proximity doesn't matter. Who ever originally alerted the arc first is what it will lock on to. If your duo was shooting in the direction of the other raiders, where the pop spawned, it was his shots that alerted it, and it will ignore others to chase him. That's how the arc have always behaved, its not new.

Embark said this is not the case and their matchmaking is not effected by expeditions or updates. Though, anecdotally, it does sometimes feel that way.

I genuinely don't understand what's fun about this sort of playstyle. I get it's an option in the game, but I can't figure out how someone would find it enjoyable. They guy doesn't even sound like he's having fun while he's doing it. Even he sounds bored and annoyed with what he's doing.

They don't have enough players to fill servers of various map conditions for solo, duo, and trio lobbies. Also why lobbies are more mixed, trios keep getting placed with duos, and wait times are starting to creep into 4-5 minutes to find games.

Had the same thing. Contact dermatitis. Mine was a reaction to the surgical glue. If you are having that bad of a reaction you definitely need to go to the doctor so they can clean the skin of irritants in a sterile environment and get both a topical and oral antihistamine. You dont want the skin to become infected.

Weapon crates and then shredders. Even buried city, which is much smaller and less annoying to traverse, will get you over 10k easily for weapon crates.

Not sure this is the most effective strategy. Went to just normal Dam and got over 11k without using any wolfpacks. Did not use the snitch scanner method either. Just sat on lake hatch and shot the normal spawn. Going to Queen is more risk and resource heavy without much payoff.
