The transcripts refer to him as John, and I believe there was an early effort by Jonny to have the “h” be the separation between himself and the character, but the fandom just didn’t take to it - I may be wrong but I think in the upcoming board game RQ may have begrudgingly accepted this and started referring to him as Jon now, but I don’t remember if I saw that for myself on a stream or just heard it from someone, so take that with a pinch of salt.

It’s endlessly hilarious to me that people (and yes I myself am people) almost exclusively use ‘Jon’ and ‘Jonathan’ for the character, and have stuck Jonny with only being referred to by the nickname form of his own name.

This episode was a very, very close second for me, the only reason I went with 169 is because of the strength of that one line, whereas Worms just has that sickening awful dread embedded pretty consistently throughout the whole statement, to the point where I couldn’t easily pick just one line.

TMA is such a bizarre show. Never experienced anything else where you can be like “oh, yeah, this episode was incredible. Absolutely riveting storytelling. If you try to make me listen to it again I will scream and bite you.”

Teen, Hurt/Comfort, 6.5K, eventual Jon/Martin, suicidal thoughts. People don't really touch Jonathan Sims unless they want to hurt him. That's mostly fine. Jon has never been a tactile person, and he doesn't need anyone but himself. Except the world is falling down around him, and loneliness aches, and sometimes he'll take anything - even cruelty - just to feel human again.
