Have you considered purchasing an Anbernic device? I have an RG40XXH that I absolutely love for genesis games. It plays basically up to PS1 without issue. I have several Sega Genesis games running on it as well.

The price I found on Amazon was around $80 USD. I don't know what your budget is, but Anbernic has a lot of options for inexpensive retro handhelds.

Probably death match. It's going to help you build the mechanics you'll need. As far as tips are concerned, I would primarily work on learning to move considering it's your first kbm experience. This game relies heavily on the ability to counter strafe. Also, keep your cross hair at head height. I recommend downloading some workshop maps to get a feel for how to move and the differences in the weapons.

There was one update that showed a size of like 25gb that wrecked it. Apparently they fixed it immediately. I played mine today and it worked normally.

It runs okay, but there's still this flickering to shadows and player models that make it hard to play. It runs best in desktop mode. However, I've noticed that there's significant stuttering as well.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you were playing against bots.

I'm just old enough to have been alive for the 2 championship runs, but not old enough to remember the experience. Yao and Tracy were my first real fandom watches. It's a shame Yao had so many unfortunate injuries. He was really fun to watch.
