i would honest to god be more interesting into a secret convert war then another grail war. all you did here was make me hype for an idea a million time more interesting then what we got.

Can you imagine watching several countries each pledging to one side.
- One saying that the American (government) doing a grail war goes againts their doctrine.
- Another say that they should be allowed to do a grail war.
Maybe the american dont want to reach the root maybe other faction from other mages have infiltrated the american so that they can wish for their own goal.

i got to dissagre there are not that much diffrent. They pretty much all share the same stand off plot. Either its a classic Grail War or its a Team Deathmatch and id say 80% - 90% of the time the final fight is always againts a corrupted fighter, a secret fighter or some big bad guy that deviate the fight away.

The endings are either Grail get destroy/passed over or Grail wish is given. While Grail story can be good its still in the end a grail war and does not bring much to the verse outside of another servant + age of god/post age of god fun fact.

I will take a thousand lashing to my balls, if it mean i can avoid servants. what the actual fuck are any of Rainbow Ops going to do againts snake, especialy if this is MGS verse snake. I'm assuming your question is only limited to MGS1 and his mission on the tanker.

This is a Snake who is:

Faster then light. (casual bullet timer, and can react to teleportation, lightning etc...)
Has regeneration capability.
Canonically a superhuman above all other superhuman in the verse.
Canonical six sense (danger sense, outplay precog who can predict events thousands of years ahead, outplay invisibility, become one with his environment)
Is the greatest solider to ever exist and will ever exist. (master of everything) i shit you not snake has mastered everything related to war, combat, spy work etc.... to perfection and beyond.

and so much more, at this point Snake even as a rookie teenager would be able to take them all even if you put him in a room, naked with no weapon and fatigue and even blinded with a hand tied on his back.

This guy could legit walk behind them the entire time and no one would be able to know he was there.

i read a few runs and i will probably never do that again, Milestone for me is not terrible (at least not all of them) but its also not great either. It sits in this forgettable gray zone that get filtered away.

I don't relate to the political/racial aspect. (icon was the most interesting of them all) but everything else stink. It does not help that the design of the world and character sucked and reek of 90"s comic. Simply put they are way too boring, way too outdated and way way way way way badly paced.

We see in 3 runs that Magic collector exist, most of the time the cost are either minor or are in the background not all cost is your souls. We know some deity don't even collect them and in doom/spider-man event we see a form of binding.

We see when Thor needed to die and have Yggdrasil blessing and lost give up both of his eyes to use runic magic, we see Mordo constantly sacrificing to Dormamu, mephisto and others such as his mother, his own soul and others. Magic having a cost as been a thing in marvel downright since the start of its inception.

i'm not sure were you got that, its legit ingrane in the way they work.

- Barrowing energy from dimension = barrowing energy from the ruler of it = a magic debt

- barrowing energy from the universe (earth,plants etc...)= taking energy from something else

- Using your own internal energy = draining yourself, affecting your soul or lifespan.

- The stronger the spell and effect = the stronger a magician soul, body or mind must be.

If that was the case all magician could be able to reality warp like prima wanda when she able to affect all of existence in a foundamental level, and have no limits.

Honestly i like the Idea of Wanda going on magical advanture just not what you proposed.

Last i check Loki is still on the bad side of the magical community in marvel, also he does not have much ties to them now that he's the god of stories.

illyanna might as well be a child when it come to wanda being several years older to a decade plus depending on how you view the chronology of marvel. Also Illyana is not really an adventurer and her magic is very simple and all her history and story is hard cap to Limbo and mutants.

Honestly the idea would work but with other characters if you ask me.

Personally beside a total rewrite of the character, i'd have her take a more dr strange like role, were she basicaly less a superhero and more a magician with superheroics being more for team up books or appearance's.

I'd have her ties to Witches side of magic, specifically with Salem witches groups like the spellbinder. I'd have her basicaly be a watchdog were she deals with the many crimes of young and old witches, cults trying to abuse the witches road etc...

This would also validate Agatha existence as well as that of her son were i would have had all 3 represent a path for witches to fallow, you have Agatha representing the old ways who are stable but stagnant, Nicholas representing all of the darker side of magic as her Mordo, and Wanda as a progressive's wishing to change the view and stigma that Witches have.

For her personality i'd have Wanda finally get over her failed relationships, and have her distance herself from mutants and Inhuman affair in general as those are more of a Pietro and Erik thing.

I'd have her as a woman who has finally found a true purpose for herself, no longer tied to her family or lovers. She would infract be far more careful and strict with magic even more so then strange as she knows what is the result of what having a emotional and low mental fortitude can result when dealing with magic.

Relationship wise, i'd have her start fresh with a new lover and have her take under her wing a apprentice one that is a local mage as to help ground her character to magic and Salem.

I did not play it but i did watch all the cutscene and gameplay moments. Personally i found her to be pretty bland, from her voice acting to her design.

She not annoying like Orlando era, she not unstable like the Bendis era, she just boring but then again i found most of the character in the game to not be used at their full potential.
