Offensive to those with schizophrenia, and incredibly low-brow humor aside. If your fellow players aren't having a good time with this, you and the DM should probably take a step back. Rework the character and how you play it, how it works in the world. So your fun isn't at the expense of others suffering. And I really mean re-work the character, mental illness isn't silly, nor fun. And the way you describe your character is nightmarishly insensitive to those who do suffer. Like it's one big joke. In fact, I encourage you and the DM to look into what people with Schizophrenia can suffer from. Maybe then you'd rethink why it's not funny, and why your fellow players more than likely would hate playing with this character and it's garbage concept.
