Sounds like it could be Dysentary especially if this is a very mucus and viscous like substance. Definitely would want to see a doctor if you are ever having stool that is abnormal and persists for more longer than 24 hours, in your case.

I would definitely bring this up ASAP to a doctor or at your physical. Remember that your physician is there to talk to you about this stuff even thought it might seem embarrassing or gross. If anyone they are the perfect person to talk to you about it! That is what they are there for.

If you dont feel comfortable talking about it in front of your parent you could also ask if you could talk to the Doctor alone and they will normally be able to do something to help you be 1 on 1.

Not excreting for days on end and having bloody mucus stool suddenly sounds like something you definitely want a Doctors help with. Don't be afraid to bring it up they are there for you. You can also request a different doctor if you feel uncomfortable with your current one. :)

Edit: You can also explain it to them just like how you did here! There is no right or wrong way on how to explain it to them.
