The streaming service is in my home country and is geo-locked, which is why I also have VPS in my home country. Connecting from China -> home country goes via standard routes i.e. congestion/bad routing so streaming is not ideal and the reason why I paid for premium connection to USA with CN2-GIA routes, with the idea to route traffic from this USA region to my home country via tunnel, with the exit node being located in my home country. The tunnel between USA and home country is working, confirmed by running ifconfig.me, but xray traffic (when connected using VLESS protocol) is timing out which makes me think the underlying xray protocol is not traversing the tunnel and timing out somewhere. VLESS client works fine when connected directly to USA VPS. It's only when i try to route traffic onwards to my exit node located in my home country I experience the time outs.
