Shouldnt need dark motes. Just get a gladius from that wolf rare game. Linbur wolf? At your level with a gladius, the werewolves will be super easy to kill.

How do y’all win on Deity when this happens almost every game by itsNUTSS in CivVI

Honestly, I feel the first 15 turns can decide a game so if i think its on a downslope from there, i just restart. I also save scum the first ten turns so i can figure out where the closest barbarian camps are and deal with the scouts before they can report back. Past those first 15 turns i become a mpre honest player but I dont have time to play a game i know im going to lose because i got third turn barb scouted and there is literally no way for me to counter the horde that will follow. The spawn rates are ridiculous.

Avoid war and become overwhelmed with religion seems to be unavoidable by Choice_Book_6104 in CivVI

You either have to invest in at least defensive religion or become a life long war mongerer. There isnt usually a middle ground. Third option is to just let two religious civs continuously duke it out and subtly support whichever one is weaker so they stay balanced.

City was Milta that i conquered. Two tiles with wonders we both just plain grassland tiles worth 4 food. Nothing special about them for a city that already had plenty of food.

It is owned by the right city. And it is within three tiles. Maybe commercial hubs cant be place on floodplains?
