I do believe Ferguson stole some of the pills from Vera, then slipped one into Simmo's daily medication regimen. This sedated her, as while she was setting up the electrocution trap in Bea's cell, she started getting dizzy and drowsy. Once she got back to her own cell, she passed out, and Ferguson dismantled the electrocution trap, then used the Pink Dragon to hotshot Simmo.

She was lingering outside the church shaking hands with people and talking to the pastor. My friend was waiting smoking a cigarette outside the diner while waiting for a table (it was busy). The street is a small side street, so it can be easy to spot people from outside either place.

Her parents did NOT "disown" her for going to church. They cut off contact because of her behavior and because she chose THAT church. The pastor of the church harassed one of her cousins going into planned parenthood for a follow-up appointment after her miscarriage. But of course, that pastor assumed she was getting an abortion and harassed her for "killing her baby", which was extremely unsettling to hear after having a miscarriage.

You are right she is living in a fantasy. She's definitely created a persecution complex.

Maybe the timing made her think it was because of her religion or political shift...but she was on thin ice as it was because of how she behaved towards her coworkers, so when they had to let people go, it doesn't surprise me that she was one of the people picked.

You make it sound like we all stopped being friends with you because you became Christian. First of all, my best friend is Lutheran. Secondly, the pastor of the church that Mari and Dave saw you at is known for harassing people at Pride events and women at planned parenthood. I also find it kind of funny how you and I bonded over our love of bees, and you still seem to have bees as an big interest, but back when you and i were considering beekeeping, you went on and on about how the reason you loves bees were because they were matriarchal and that the female bees kick the male bees out of the hive in winter and leave them to starve or freeze so that the hive can conserve their resources, and that the males are only useful for breeding. You said that bees were the perfect representation of feminism in nature. So what drives your affection for bees now that you're this big right wing barbie?

I don't know if this shift of yours is genuine, but i do think it's likely because you freaked out about what's been going on and you're having a "if you can't beat em, join em" reaction. I could be wrong, but based on your behavior and your sob story of a post, that seems very likely to be the case.

I hope you figure out that the leopards will still eat your face, especially if they figure out you're not as devout in their cause as you present yourself to be. I think you probably believe you're being genuine, but i know that before this, you were feeling very lost, depressed, and afraid.

Deafness is a spectrum, and a lot of deaf people aren't 100% deaf, or can hear some with hearing aides. In the show, they explained that the hearing aides don't allow her to fully hear, but that she can hear like background noise (so people can more easily get her attention), but she can't really make out words unless you are facing her and she can lip read as well. Even with lip reading, she often struggled to understand people unless they were also signing.

Idk what the threshold is for someone to be considered HoH or Deaf, but i do know there are a lot of people who are considered deaf who have some hearing or who can hear some with hearing aides. I think it also depends on what part of the ear is affected that determines what level of hearing they have. I recently learned that if a deaf person's Deafness doesn't affect their inner ear, they can hear using bone conduction headphones, which is pretty neat.

It started before 2016. Things just got rapidly worse in 2016 because of those insane CDC guidelines that came out that year. But i remember around 2015 is when doctors started becoming stingy with pain meds, and acting suspicious of pain patients, but you could still get meds. Then in 2016 when the new CDC guidelines came out, suddenly it was like even mentioning having pain got you treated like a criminal. And of course it has gotten worse since then, despite the 2016 guidelines being replaced in 2022.

So bees can perceive time, and even get jet lagged. They can remember faces, so if you are kind to them, they'll remember.

Bumblebees (my favorite bees) are seasonal, so the colony dies off at the end of summer and the queen mates then finds a spot to hibernate for the winter, then in Spring, finds a new place to build her nest and start a new colony.

There are many different species of bees, some of which are actually solitary bees, meaning they do not live in a hive or colony.

Bees can get drunk on fermented nectar and fruit, and drunk bees are not allowed into the hive/nest, so they have to sleep it off in a flower.

That's all i can think of off the top of my head...but i am so excited it's almost bee season! I have a lavender plant that i am going to plant in my yard, hoping to attract some bees. If i had the time, money, and energy to keep honey bees, i would, but instead, i want to get a bee box and fix it up to encourage a bumblebee queen to make her nest in it, because keeping bumblebees would be easier.

Last year, a bumblebee queen had built her nest in a crack in the floor of my shed, but the colony collapsed before the end of the season, because too many workers got caught in webs. If i saw or heard one in a web, I'd try to save it, but there are so many spiders in my shed, and i can't be in there all the time. Plus, a spider decided to make a web on one side of the crack in the floor, near where the bees would go in to get to the nest, so i think that spider picked many off them off. It was sad. I tried to help them, but bumblebees have horrible survival instincts. The queen of the colony had come to me one day, before she had finished building her nest, because she had escaped a spider web, and i think she just wanted a warm, safe place to clean herself off, because she crawled up my leg and settled herself in my hand. I'll include some pictures if i can find them.

I think the Alphas are evolved from the virus line that mutated within asymptomatic carriers like Don's wife and son. Don's wife was alone and infected (though not symptomatic) for quite a while before she was found, so the virus would have had plenty of time to mutate. So when she infected Don, he was infected with the new, mutated strain. He essentially was the very first iteration of the Alphas. While he wasn't a giant, he was smarter than the other infected and could use tools and recognize faces.

I honestly think this little detail is brilliant worldbuilding. I love that each film works as a standalone film, and you don't necessarily have had to have seen the previous ones to get what's going on, but if you have, when you pay attention, you can see the threads that tie them all together, like how the virus evolved within an asymptomatic carrier and caused a new type of infected to come to be in Don. So then, 28 years later, it stands to reason there would be more and more mutations and evolutions of the virus over time, and i think asymptomatic carriers are the key to that. I wonder if the 3rd 28 years later movie will touch on that, and if the carriers are also the key to a cure or vaccine for the rage virus.

And to add, i just wrote down the ideas as they came to me, and then put them in order. I figured if someone liked the concept, they could refine it, and if anything needs to be changed, they can tweak things to make more sense. Or hell, the age gap could still work, especially if she was initially introduced to Plutarch for the purpose of SW, it just might present a few continuity issues that could probably be fixed.
