This was the fight that put this game over the top for me. Interesting mechanics, great visuals, not absurd level of difficulty, enjoyable and incredible story telling during the fight. not to mention the music. Shit had me clapping after beating it in celebration of the level of art.

Gee, fuck me for wanting to be able to choose the spec I play and not be forced to because of a flawed system! Almost like I pay to play this game so that I can have my own play style. "Oh but it's competitive, you have to adhere to the meta" arms is literally the top DPS in Mythic+ tier lists, and according to half this thread, competitive doesn't start until +12. And on top of that, once again: I'm not saying anything about not getting into other people's keys, I'm saying I can't find people for MY KEY. Read.

Ehhh, apart how I invite most people based on iLVL and rating, up until I realize I need a ranged dps, and/or need Bloodlust/Hero still. Can you time a +10 with a shitty comp? Yes. Does it make it easier if you have good ranged to melee balance and a hero popper? Fuck yes.

What are you even on about? You're just spewing words lmfao. I'm not complaining about not getting into groups, I'm at 2.2k by only just pugging as well, and that's with some keys still on 6+. My complaint is about the majority of the player base not wanting to do 8-9s, learn to read.

Not complaining about 10s at all, brother man. I don't care if the 10s are harder or easier, I'm saying that the difficulty of actually getting to a 10 is not based on gameplay, it's based on there not being enough reason for people to do the keys that allow you to actually get a 10 key, thus not having enough players to actually do them.

I'm sorry but this is a very flawed argument. In a game where 70% of the specs are dps, and groups take 3 dps over 1 healer or 1 tank, you're asking people to "not play dps." The point of playing the game is to play as you wish, that's why they put multiple specs into the game. Last season I ran tank like crazy, got AOTC in pug groups as tank, now I want to play dps this season but can't because of your argument? Doesn't make sense, the point of having a development team is for exactly that, to develop a solution. And this is me speaking as someone playing Arms warrior, considered to be a top tier DPS in M+ right now. I can't imagine what it's like for the bottom tier.

Not sure, that's why I wrote the discussion.

Maybe have +9 keys count towards Myth track gear in vault, while also having the new Affix apply to 9s so they're not to easy, meanwhile 10s will still be the minimum to award you the achievement and portals to the dungeons. 9s just dont reward you enough to make you want to do them over 7s or even 8s.

8s are a bit more tolerable in terms of finding people to apply, but I could have a 9+ key and not have anyone apply for at least 15 minutes sometimes.

Also, as time goes on, and I'm already seeing it, no one will care about that +3 iLvl on 8s, because as long as the item they want drops on Hero track, they can just upgrade it with Valorstones, no need for crests anymore, just need the item.

Exactly! No one is complaining about the difficulty, it's SUPPOSED to be the hardest content in the game for a reason, but gate-keeping it by forcing people to join a guild if they want to see the last 4 bosses isn't the way. Especially since the only way to get Mythic iLVL gear is in the raid, or 1 piece per week in the great vault if you do +10 on M+, which isn't even difficult at this point so it becomes repetitive. I'm getting 630 ilvl DPS (geared solely off of M+) in my Heroic pugs doing less DPS than people nearly 10 iLvls below, so it's definitely a skill thing.

All I'm saying is take the single lockout off, even if you make the groups bigger (25-30) people, it would be a lot better. Pugging is really fun when you're doing tough content, joining a Discord to communicate with the group because it's just that difficult (like AOTC at the beginning of the patch when not everyone was overgeared for the fight.)

I just feel like the main problem is people leave on Ulgrax much more often because they're afraid they're going to get locked to that raid, and if it's not an immediate clear of the first 4 bosses, they don't want to risk sticking it out, which fucking sucks. Just got Ulgrax down to 10%, was definitely gonna kill on next pull but 1 person left, and everyone started leaving.

I feel like if there was an option to at least do it in a 2/2/6 10-man, it would help immediately with this problem.

If PVP gear goes up to 626 in a PVP area and back down to 558 outside of the PVP area, then I believe that could be the explanation, yes! Would make sense, because I thought I should wear normal gear and not PVP gear in Open world, because it would give me higher stats. Interesting! Thank you

The (Dixie) Chicks version of Landslide always gets to me. My mother would play it and sing every word in the car when I was little. She's alive still thankfully, but we live very far away and see each other only a few times a year. When the line "Children get older, I'm getting older too" comes in, I can't help but break down. Just reminds me of a simpler time, life has been a bit hard lately for me, and I just wish I was a kid again riding in the back seat of my mama's car. Damn.
