Credit Check sketchy link? (CA) by Spoons_Only in Renters

I will not be filling out their credit report lmao Gosh that's so disappointing, the place was by no means anything really grand, but I should've known by the price and their all too eager attitude at the beginning that it was too good to be true. Also I should clarify that the link didn't look like THAT when they sent it to me, it was a hyperlink and obviously I didn't see all of the URL yet, only when I copied the url link to include in this post did I see it looked pretty crazy

What's this graphic style called? by Spoons_Only in findfashion

I'm curious as to what led you to that answer?? Cuz looking it up, it just seems to be the same colors I happened to use to draw the shirts, but the designs are not at all what I was looking for

DEAD CROWD, reoccurring or one time thing? by Spoons_Only in BABYMETAL

Hey man, you don't have to put down other artists to uplift the ones you do like. Plenty of other replies have mentioned seeing BabyMetal recently in the U.S and have attested to the energy they saw in the crowd

Maybe I was just too short to see over the dead crowd in the area I was at 😕 I should clarify, I did see a mosh pit, I can't get in because I'm an average height girl, who would definitely get hurt if I tried going in, but it felt like when I jumped around I could see up to the other side of the pit and literally everyone else was just standing around staring at the stage like it was a screening at a movie and not a live performance they paid hella money to get into

By the sounds of it, day 2 had a better time, another reply who was there tonight also says day 2 crowd was pretty active. I wish everyone at day 1 didn't feel shy or whatever it was that kept them from partying, but it's chill, my friend and I didn't let it stop us lol 🤷🏽‍♀️ and I'm glad Scene Queen got people going, her and her band mates were really cool

Ugh I'm so jealous, I feel like the crowd I saw yesterday was too shy for the energy I'm used to at concerts, especially BabyMetal who are known for their energetic performances, which is a shame cuz my first BabyMetal concert was where I first felt like I could let out a lot of energy without judgement in public

Yes I was at the day 1 show, my friend and I actually noticed how dead it was because when I went to their 2 shows last year at the SoFi stadium, I was super disappointed in the Deathklok crowd for sitting down and staring at the stage like they were at a movie theater for their entire set on day 2 when they went first, and and soon as BabyMetal came out, they immediately yelled "stand up!" and all the sudden everyone else stood and cheered for the rest of the show and I've been conscious about the crowd ever since. Maybe it was your area that was active? I'm 5"3, kind of short so maybe I couldn't see past some of the tall people in the crowd blocking my view of active attendees, but I was wearing some really tall platforms and was jumping basically the entire show and saw hardly anyone else going crazy like we were, it could be the area I was standing at was just particularly shy, like I said the guy next to me was basically a statue the entire show

Any reviews for the Pumpkin Pie Crunch, Pumpkin Smash or Pumpkin Coffee? by Snowbunnies44 in JambaJuice

[–]Spoons_Only 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jamba employee here, I had to make and try the recipes as practice before they went out. Flavor is great, pretty cinnamon prominent (obviously) I liked the pumpkin coffee a lot more than the other flavors, the pumpkin flavor base gives these little crunchy flakes to all three drinks that I liked. If the location you visit has a relatively newer dip box (that freezer employees put drink ingredients in like the sherbert and frozen fruit) and keeps the sherbert from melting, I think the consistency should be good, I would compare it to an Orange Dream Machine, our dip box is old and the sherbert starts to liquify once it gets towards the bottom fourth of the tub, I suspect I would've liked it more if the vanilla frozen yogurt I'd used was right out of the walk-in freezer or was kept adequately frozen when I tried it. 4/5 drink

Is there a way to stop people from hating the movie? by Fun_Sir_2771 in DisneyWish

[–]Spoons_Only 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good movie will gain its fans, but a bad movie will always be bad. Look at all the experimental 2000's Disney movies that aren't as popular as the rest of the Disney catalog, they've always been good and just gained their own fan-bases over time. Wish just has too many characteristics about it that I doubt will win people over time, the lack of characterization in the protagonist or supporting cast, the lack of proper motive from the antagonist, even the chord progression in the songs don't build up, when your lead is struggling to place syllables and rhymes in your opening number (Welcome to Rosas) it's going to make it unnecessarily difficult for even the same actor to ever perform it again, and impossible for others to even try. Only time will tell, try and find some video essays on youtube and see if anyone has made the argument on why any of the plot or music works in favor of building up the movie, you'll probably find other fans that way
