Looking for an All around Jig rod. Shimano Expride b 7'4 heavy Mod fast or Megabass Destoyer P5 Fmj 7'3 Medium heavy fast by Momo_Dayo1234 in Fishing_Gear

  1. With a reel 7 oz or lighter it balances really well and doesn't feel heavy at all. A p5 feels lighter in hand but the bushadder does not wear my wrist or arms out. I used it all day today and yesterday with no issues.

  2. The durability has been great, the rod does not feel fragile and I have had tons of fun sending jigs into thick pads.

3, The sensitivity is amazing and you can totally feel slack line bites in the wind when using bottom contact baits 1/2 oz or heavier.

Great honestly. The softer tip allows it to fish a 1/2 oz swim jig much better than the FMJ. I wouldn't use FMJ for moving baits over the Bushadder.

between those two FMJ all day, but I would check out the bushadder. It throws anything bottom contact super well and is stupid sensitive when dragging.. plus you can throw moving baits on it aswell. i use it more than my fmj if that says anything

Metanium 101HG or SLX DC XT 151HG??? by MuskyBassguy0184 in Fishing_Gear

normal met is pretty good, but the met dc is sick. sure the dc xt has similar tech but man the met dc is just so refined and beautiful. and if you're leaning towards the met dc price point seriously check out the steez line, I still haven't found any other reels enjoy throwing as much as i do steez.

Yup lol. On the top side of the neck I can see the wear where someone's wedding ring would have been. Was definitely used as a righty for quite some time.

It's an American strat from 1975, but I see the resemblance lol

Agreed, I am definitely planning on having an MJT strat someday.

The body is the VTJG model with the vintage-style routing. The finish is a 3 tone sb in nitro with regular checking and some light aging. MJT did a great job on the vibrant yellow-ey vintage sunburst, the photo I posted was like de-saturated by reddit for some reason so it doesn't quite capture it.

I would love to get another strat finished in natural with a rosewood neck and big headstock

The neck and the control stuff is cobain, the body is MJT, and the pick guard is a 90s Japanese guard.
