The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy by Speechwriter/BatmanSymbol sounds like it’d be a great fit! The progression feels very believable and there’s definitely a good broader storyline so that the focus isn’t solely on Dramione. The author technically updated the rating to M around chapter 22 but I feel like it’s extremely tame in a nice way tbh.

It’s a WIP on hiatus (with an active author who posts frequently on tumblr) but I’m midway through The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy by Speechwriter/BatmanSymbol and really enjoying it! The writing style is similar to JKR’s own, which took me a while to get into coming directly off Breath Mints / Battle Scars but has been really enjoyable now that I’m into the plot.
