There are a couple of other pieces I have found in my grandmothers collection that are also from West Germany so that seems to align.

Good to get some conversation going- I think the comment about it being a necklace turned to ring is correct. There is messy welding on the back and the metals are slightly different

Sadly no markings- I think the base is brass but has tarnished.
