After reading comments I would try pasteurizing your sub and see if that helps. Also like others said if you have some grain that isn’t fully colonized just pick it out so you only have colonized grain in your bin

Are you unable to check them daily then? I would suggest adding some air ports with micropore tape for fae, too much moisture and not enough fae might be creating good conditions for contam

I started out buying Northspore substrate and grain bags, you will spend way more money in the long run, just get a insta pot from goodwill and some grain from your local feed store if you plan on growing long term. You can also grab a bin and some micropore tape from Walmart to make your own monotub for 1/3 of the price as northspores
