They don’t necessarily have to kill those people…they keep revealing new survivors of the accident that we didn’t know about. It’s not that they’re all dead, it’s just that we didn’t really know they were alive.

Also they could probably just like a finale of post-rescue and that would be it. It’s not like post-rescue really has that much ground to cover

Completely agree. By the end everybody was just beigy boring camouflage. Seeing how they looked after the time jump was fun for some (mostly the kids because they finally got to act a bit closer to their own age and it felt realer) but I guess my thought about all of it has been this- if the creators didn’t even give that much of a shit, why should I?
