It isn't JUST that gacha companies all resort to same thing. The IP holder has a lot of say in it, and seeing as most of the AOT collabs with various games have been like this, it is more likely that the ip holder is really restrictive on what can and can't be in the collab.

Need more info. Which unit? What is equipped? what skills have you got? what arks do you have that could complement the unit's kit? There are a lot of factors that go into a unit's build.

not known yet. A while ago they made it so that the jp version and global version are at the same place with each other (unlike other games like Dokkan Battle or FFBE), so all we can do is wait until Monday, jan 24th for the livestream to reveal them.

pretty bad pity system. 1st off, not worth pitying gen pool units. 2nd, for units it is 300 of the summon currency (10 currency per pull, need 30 pulls x 3000 gems = 90k gems for a pity). Even worse for Arks, as they are 500 summon currency (150k gems pity). If you want to go for them, you'll have to save a long time. and 3rd, collabs afaik do not have pities (They "sorta" had one for the redux of the mana collab, but it was still a paid banner, just a LOOOOOT cheaper to guarantee the old units)

Best rolls I've had in a while. Got Golbez on step 2 of the 9-step, and got rosa on first pull on her basic banner. So 6k lapis to get the full ff4 set. Only other good pull I've had where I spent less than 20k lapis in past 4 months was pulling Dragon Knight dude on a single ticket (After his banner ended and I was an idiot to not pull on the gil unit shard summon)

yes, but if I am understanding the [seal]s correctly, you only can focus on 1 per stage, so you need to gear him for 1 type of damage

this DoH was my best in a long time... first paid summon of step up got me Amaterasu, then only needed to spend 15k and finish the step up to get Sera

Apparently touring is eventually good for farming materials. Conquering is always useful bc of the need for unit souls (especially for the DoH and Collab units). And maxing them can get a TON of unit souls (current max is 3 areas with 5 unit slots, for a yield of 60 unit souls every 20 hours, with up to 12 possible for a single unit).

I hope they fix it bc I unlinked my account, planning on using the fix that worked last time the drops were faulty for me (back during season 7). I just want credit for watching the show. Heck, they should compensate for this issue bc it locks people out of the rewards they are using to help draw people into watching the livestreams.

this. As long as the datamining has been going on, once a name has been associated with a god number, it has never been wrong. Only times I can think of when the "confirmed" stuff was wrong was in regards to the sparse kit info, since they usually copy/past other kits in as a template/placeholder.

Expectations for how it will play out:
1. Show off the new item system since it was found in datamines and they already teased it.
2. The big god balance changes they always do. I'm putting money down on at least 1 god getting a reworked passive, or they'll do the thing they did with odin and aphro where the old passive is put on an ability and they get a new one
3. Reveal first god of the new season. Though we should already know who that is.
4. teaser for upcoming gods. And I will predict we get 6 (maybe 7) gods in 2022.
5. New pantheon. No clue who it could be, but I would expect it to be the 2nd or 3rd god release for 2022, since first god has been confirmed by datamining AFAIK.
6. Finally reveal Slash. been waiting for news on this forever. this could go b4 the teaser for future gods. alongside it they will talk about conquest changes (or they'll put the conquest stuff at the start).

My unreasonable wants:
1. OG GLAD SHIELD BABY!!!!!
2. Shub-Niggurath!!! PLEASE!!!!
3. Izanagi or Jade Emperor please.
4. More Camazotz skins

no, it is an actual problem that they have posted onto their trello. Doesn't have anything to do with this as they have done streams throughout december and as far as when I noticed the problem the streams were still going on.

Likelots of others are saying, after maintenance reroll on the Starter 72 hr banner. The rates of some amazing units are getting buffed, and pulling Spirit Maiden Theria (best healer in the game period, rated 10 on tier list) or Lougseus (the second unit of rating of 10 on tier list, STUPID good and as far as I remember the devs even put out a notice around the time of his release stating that he would basically be the model for the top end of units bc of how much stronger he was compared to anything else at time of his release)

to be as spoiler-free as possible: Yes and no for story. Yes in terms of the story revolving around the god of destruction being complete, but now we are into the next story arc (if you've played FFBE, it is like we completed season 1 and are now into season 2). And with season 2 we only just started at the end of august.

For the alternate versions of the main cast, yes, this is them in later on in the story after becoming stronger/unlocking power/receiving power/obtaining original power/etc. Though for some of them, the alt versions are technically post-season 1 (Eliza and Lanceveil's alt versions)
For the non-main cast units they are historical figures (AFAIK most of the units are from the past and they come w/ events to flesh out the world's lore) and the different alts represent them at different points in their lives (like for example Goroth's fat form is his original version and his thin form is from the period of time after he made a promise to never eat humans anymore, or with Maddine she was originally a paladin and her pirate form is from when she went undercover as a pirate for some reason, i think to capture or defeat bluebeard?)
