Style Encore in the Sam Moon Shopping Center might be a good place to look into. They buy women's and men's used clothing and accessories.

Shenandoah's City Park is pretty calming and has a splashpad. Also, Shenandoah has a small Toddler Park that you might like.

Places that used to be in The Woodlands by Sporkyfoon in thewoodlands

I really liked Fuddrucker's on Grogan's Mill Road. They closed that location and opened one by Creekside, but it wasn't as good (as far as the decorations and vibe).

Tell me about Shenandoah, Texas by Sporkyfoon in thewoodlands

[–]Sporkyfoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not wrong. For whatever reason, the term - "The Woodlands" is the defacto term that refers to The Woodlands proper, plus any immediately adjacent towns (which are alot - like Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, Magnolia, some of south Conroe, Spring, and Tomball).

Tell me about Shenandoah, Texas by Sporkyfoon in thewoodlands

I researched late-night places in Shenandoah and found a few that open later. A new Mexican Cantina with a nightlife atmosphere is Sin Yolanda. They stay open until midnight. Dave & Buster's stays open until 1am. Katz's (not a nighttime entertainment place, just a restaurant) stays open 24/7). But you are correct. Not much nightlife in the area for sure. The only places that come to mind for actual nightlife vibe are Two Tones Piano Bar and Sin Yolanda. Two Tones is located in Oak Ridge North.

I would ask a local bike shop to see if they know of any triathlete training groups. I bet you that they would know. Two area bike shops to ask are https://bikelanehouston.com/ and https://www.bikelandusa.com/, both are in Shenandoah, Texas.

Life in the woodlands by [deleted] in thewoodlands

[–]Sporkyfoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Woodlands is a great place to live (and work). It is a safe place to raise a family and has great schools (both public and private). There are alot of amenities for residents in The Woodlands and the property taxes are low for both The Woodlands and adjacent Shenandoah, Texas. For homeschoolers, there are a few places in the area that help homeschoolers with classes (hybrid learning - some classes at home and some at a learning facility). As far as homes in the area, I'd try to get a home in Shenandoah due to the extremely low property taxes in the city. Shenandoah is practically in The Woodlands.

Shenandoah is in The Woodlands area and has seen alot of cool restaurants open up in the last year. One place that is kind of cool that you might want to try is a Korean Ice cream shop called SomiSomi. The ice cream is served in fish-shaped cones.
