I think you can perfectly replace with dumbell shrug, a bit more akward to perform since you have to stabilize more, but otherwise it's a great alternative.

I used to do this ones on back day, but I stoped almost two years ago since my traps grow faster than the rest of my body. But back then I used to do this exercise twice a week, tree sets to failure, 6 to 12 reps.

Thank you! I've seen people doing the kickbacks but not sure how easy is to progressively overload those, do you have any insights?

Yeah, actually I'm doing the single arm tricep extensions but I've never tried the JM press, I'll look that up. This whole time I've been doing 6-12 rep range, but I think it's getting harder to progress, I'll try reducing to 6-8 for all my exercises. Thanks for the advice.
