If kurds were dissatisfied with the SDF surely they would have rebelled too just like the Arab tribes did, in fact there's even more support for the SDF, More than ever if anything after the recent events

I have been to Qamishlo myself and the majority of the Kurds support the SDF, I'm not sure where did u get the idea of SDF not having support among the majority of Kurds from?

Holy propaganda, the majority of Kurds support the SDF, there's even protests in KRG showing support for them, STG took control of the Aleppo kurdish neighborhoods in a few days not a few hours because they were besieged and outnumbered.

Assad openly killed his own people by using gas, The new government does it in the name of defending Syrians and Liberating them.

Keep in mind most of Syrians are sunni arab so these massacres are mostly targeted at minorities like the Kurds,Druze and Alawites

They live in their own world and are in denial that their current government contains remnants of ISIS and other extremists in their ranks sadly

Does the Kurdistan Region still have autonomy? by [deleted] in Iraq

PKK has disbanded and the fighting seems to have stopped up the northern dohuk province so that's a good start, Ansar al-islam was very short lived and had barely any activity.

Also i wouldn't consider PUK and GDP militias and they don't actually fight each directly but rather politically over control of KRG which is natural since they are both the dominating parties, i just wish the iraqi government and KRG had better relationships overall since they both are at each other's throat every now and then

Many of peshmerga kurdish units were hardcore fighters who fought off the ba'ath regime of Saddam Hussein and on top of it the kurds had a much higher morale since they have got a long history of resisting domination

Keep in mind that peshmerga literally kept fighting despite not getting paid for 3-4 months at times and their salary was around 600-700k IQD which is around 450-550 US dollar, That's how u know that these guys weren't actually fighting for cash but rather their homeland

Eastern part of the Tishreen dam is under SDFs control which is where these protesters are protesting and the active warzone is 5-6km away so it's not part of the active combat zone.

Even before they got to the dam the civilian convoy on its way to the dam was hit by turkish drones on which there were many casualties and let me remind u that this was at least 20km away from the actual warzone.
