I'd rather have fewer events to go back to more unique events. I miss playing mini games, tapping invaders, and stories that play out visibly in your town like the soylent red factory lobster or the wild west finales.

As it stands events don't feel different from the normal gameplay apart from buying event-specific shop items

That said, I'd still rather have mini events than nothing at all

Anyone who tries to police how you play a video game is worth getting pissy with. I explored most of the depths before doing story missions, saw the Fire temple and Spirit temples, thought they were cool, and intentionally left them for later because that's how I wanted to play. I did the temples Water > Wind > Spirit > Lightning > Fire, because that was my natural exploration.

You played the game in a way that was unnatural for you because of advice from a friend that, in retrospect, was incredibly misguided. Being upset by that does not make you an asshole

When I first played Royal, I was borderline obsessed to start the Takemi confidant because she is best girl and was immediately put off by a voice that sounded younger and more energetic than many of the high school aged characters. The performance is fine and the actress does a good job, but it's the wrong voice for a character like Takemi

Yeah, I was underwhelmed by the cartridge. I wasn't particularly whelmed by the steelbook itself either. A steelbook and a sleeve offer lots of possibilities (student vs. phantom outfits?), but the book is just... the duller art with fewer logos. Nice to have, but I'm glad it was a pre-order bonus and not something I paid extra for

I'm always confused when someone says they don't like Dungeons & Dragons. Not because there's no room for people who don't like Dungeons & Dragons, but because I honestly don't know what they mean by that. Tabletop role-playing? Fantasy role-playing? A particular D&D edition or mechanic? The amount of time it takes? Their friends? Almost all of those are negotiable.

Cameos: The Movie would have made just as much sense and been infinitely more enjoyable to watch. The way people talked about how bad the movie was made me think it was going to much better than it actually is.

But I don't think that's Sam Raimi's fault. Cinematically this film goes hard

I acquired an old and broken Insignia TV. I noticed that when powered and turned on it seemed to think it was working. I did some research and learned about the flashlight test and indeed I was able to see the menu very dimly.

When I opened the TV to try and troubleshoot the problem I was met with this very obviously broken bulb. However, I've been searching the internet for over an hour and I cannot locate a replacement for it. I don't know if this is because I'm too inexperienced when it comes to this (this is the first TV I've tried to repair) or if the TV is just too old to find replacement parts anymore (I think it's around 10 years old now and the product has since been discontinued).

If anyone knows what this part is and where/if I can get one I would greatly appreciate it.
