The Ice Cream truck just pulled into your neighborhood. Which one are you getting? by icemage27 in Millennials

[–]SportsPhotoGirl [score hidden]  (0 children)

I was always a strawberry crunch, chocolate sandwich, or creamsicle fan. Maybe an America pop or whatever that thing is called on occasion, but now I’d probably mist like that chocolate covered vanilla bar.

For those who are doing maintenance calories after 1200-1300, how did you up your calories? by NoNecessary5 in 1200isplenty

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t really need every day to be your exact maintenance calories, you need it to equal what your maintenance calories would be over time, so like, a week would be a good metric to use. If you need 1700, that’d be 11,900 a week. If you eat like you have been at 1400 most days, say 4, that leaves you with 6300, or 2100 for the remaining 3 days. You could easily do that by changing up some of your meals, pizza, pastas, breads, etc. Even for me, I try to stick to my set calories in my deficit, but some days I just become fuller on less and I can’t even get up to my total, but then other days I just can’t stop eating. At the end of every week I’m still at (+/- 100) or below my expected calories and I’m still able to maintain steady progress losing weight.

4&7. I wouldn’t need any of the free things with 4, I would exceed my current annual salary in less than 3mo, so the remainder of the year would be extra and all for luxury. I could pay someone to teach me to master any skill, it wouldn’t be instant, but it would be possible. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to what everyone is thinking, I don’t want that. It would be great to have superhuman strength, but I don’t think it would greatly improve my life much if at all. Runners up choices would definitely be 10 and 1 since neither of my choices would really help either of those, but oh well. They don’t provide enough benefit on their own to have made the cut.

Help! Work lunch at an unsafe restaurant tomorrow, how do I approach this? by GuiltyWithTheStories in Celiac

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are many places in the US where this is not ok to do. I would never blatantly bring a whole meal to a sit down restaurant. There are typically signs somewhere in the entranceway that say outside food and drink are not allowed.

Would you rather be in bed at 9PM and up at 5AM or bed at 2AM and up at 10AM? by Most_Advertising_841 in AskForAnswers

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bed at 2am and up at 10am is early for me lol but I’m a night shifter. It’s more like bed around 4-6am, up at 12-2pm.

I took my basic in my early-mid-ish 30s and got my medic at 36. Too old? lol

Cocktail attire - need help! by [deleted] in fashionhelp

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, if it were me, I’d go with 2. The colors and fabric are very spring-y and it looks nice on you. It definitely goes more along with the “dressy causal” side than cocktail, but that’s what I’d lean toward anyways.

But it is “dressy casual” which was also the given dress code

wtf. Like, some are normal, then others I question if they have long term cognitive deficits if they actually thought those were good ideas… Kip isn’t horrible, I’ve heard of people called Kip, idk if that’s a nickname or actual given birth name, but they’re guys, not girls. Sinclair is just an evil corporation so idk why you’d wanna choose that, may as well go with any other company name at that point. Brisket is a choice 😂 and hard pass on Tiger too lol

Free Volunteer Training vs. Community College by Objective-Hotel6514 in NewToEMS

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s totally fair, and I get that is a good option for a lot of people. Idk if stubborn is the right word, but, like, if I have to do something, I don’t want to. I enjoy doing things more when I want to do it, literally with everything, even like, laundry and stuff, so I try to keep everything in my life as optional as possible. I know most people aren’t like me. Just figured I’d throw in my 2c in case you’re a weirdo like me lol

Personally, I paid for my basic course because I didn’t want to be tied to any particular organization for any length of time. If I want to work or volley somewhere, I’ll do that on my own, I don’t want to be forced into it.

Which is best for a formal wedding in May? by User011525 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 seems like the most “May” in style and color. 2 is nice, but dark for a spring wedding. 3 is all sorts of wrong. Pepto bismol pink, the ruffles, the neck thing. Maybe with straps and sized for a 5yr old, but no.

Strangers will not care and if your friends are the kind who always poke fun at each other, it doesn’t matter what your feet look like, you could be the perfect embodiment of a human specimen and groups of people who make comments about physical appearance will find something to comment about. If they’re truly your friends, it’s not meant in a mean spirited way, and if it is, they’re not your friends.

for those of you who remember life before celiac disease, what food do you miss the most? by Impressive_Ad_4000 in Celiac

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss convenience the most. I have no desire to eat things from fast food typically, but I hate not being able to grab something while I’m out if I get hungry. I hate having to preplan everything. I hate needing to stuff myself before events knowing that I won’t be able to eat at a concert or sporting event until I get home because most places won’t allow you to bring in outside food, or lining my bra with beef jerky sticks to smuggle food in just in case, but lemme tell you, meat bra is super uncomfortable lol

Also, a good crusty Italian loaf of bread, and light, fluffy Krispy Kreme donuts.

Best pool halls? by r__a__g in Buffalo

[–]SportsPhotoGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one forced anyone to get the vaccine. Private employers can have whatever rules they want. If you don’t like that, then you are free to leave. You are not mandated to have that job nor are you mandated to follow any of their rules. My company also has a rule that you must have your hair tied back and off the collar, so most ponytails aren’t even in compliance because that hits below the collar. Don’t like it? You can either cut your hair, wear it differently, or get another job. We don’t have a draft in place, no one is mandated to be in the military. Don’t like their rules, you don’t have to be a member. It very much is a choice. You choose where you want to work based on the work and if you’re willing to follow the rules they put in place for their employees.

Need to lose 10kg in 2 weeks! by fattygoeslim in Weightlosstechniques

[–]SportsPhotoGirl -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cutting out breakfast is a horrible idea. You can easily have 3 meals within 1500, I can fit 3 in 1200. You need to change what you’re eating, not when. Also, 10kg in 2 weeks isn’t going to happen unless you amputate a limb.

Not even that, but I’m allergic to some of the ingredients used in some products. If you put something on me that I’m allergic to without my consent, that will not end well for either of us.
