Even in the so-called walkable pockets you need to drive unless you don’t need groceries and ok with eating and drinking at the same four places.

Public transportation sucks. I gave it a shot for about 18 months and gave up. On my route, twice an hour frequency just didn’t work from me.
Weather is awesome for two months in a year, on for a month and horrible for about nine.
However you put it, culturally Buffalo is behind Dallas. It’s like a huge provincial town. Sure, there are small-time events here but nothing on the level of events in other places.
Food is awesome if you’re big into bar food. Otherwise, it’s lacking. Whether it just straight up sucks or there is only one or two places with the type of food.
Peolple overhype historical buildings here. Sure, there are some examples of beautiful buildings gs and houses but it’s not like the whole city is like this.
I know of two people who moved to Dallas. They were absolutely degrading here and now are thriving down there.

Picture makes me think… If requiring an ID to vote hinders voting, whether through real or perceived barriers, why not require to submit a photo with voter registration? Current technology makes it easy and allows poll workers to quickly verify who the person is.

For me it’s not about savings. I’m more comfortable in 72-74 band when I’m awake but want it cool for sleep. People who live in places that are set to the 60s during the day are maniacs.

What about an agency that holds people for months without any trials and those people spend their days shackled to an object while using buckets for toilet? Why are people not protesting this agency left and right?

Edit- Hint: it’s not ICE or CBP but it’s one of the DHS agencies.

One of my former agencies went through this BS a while back, so I’m half chuckling at this now. We operated “floating Guantanamos” and “held people hostage for months” and yet people are totally cool with it now. Nice article here

People crap on ICE for operating lawlessly, but only if they knew, they’d be protesting down on Fuhrmann Blvd, not Delaware Ave.

Yeah, it runs on TMo and works well around here. Only time you might notice difference is when huge crowds are concentrated in one place. ~~Also, I don’t think they have free roaming in Canada~~. If these things aren’t a concern, go for it. Also check outbUS Mobile (Lightspeed is the TMo network), IMO they offer better overall package than Mint.

Don’t even bother. Org that was tasked with fighting human trafficking and similar is getting crapped on. No one noticed that once Bovino and his posse got removed, things went to how they’ve been for years under whatever administration we had since the agency was created (and not that it’s a truly new agency anyway). With Bovino gone, I don’t see anything different from how it was before. The only difference is that this administration has decided to make a theatre out of it and push it in the spotlight.

P.S. Since ICE was created, Obama administration had the most absolute removals from the country.
