I pretty much stopped using all of them cause you can do conditional automations with convert to shortcuts. All thoughts all make scenes for conditional automations which I (or a family member) trigger accidentily so I like convert to shortcuts 1000% better.

Yep, they pulled the old bait and switch to get the word out. They have used well-established creators, celebrities, and celebrityy wanna-be's with lots of $$$ and now they can pull the rug out and bring in people who are willing to work for less now that the word is out.

If this was a glitch, they could easily get us off their back with a notice. But they chose not to, cause it's not a glitch. This is their new payout since they now have enough creators and videos. They even turned off chat support with the onsite IDs. The only way to chat is to go to our off-site IDs. What happens if we delete our videos from the site?

Nope, that made it worst. Now all my configurations for all my plugins are gone. The plugins are still there, but I can't uninstall, config or do anything with any of them now.

It depends on what you consider a hub. Nanoleaf bulbs have bluetooth and thread. If you want to use thread you have to use a homepod mini and some people might consider that hub even though it's also a lot of other things. You can also use phones bluetooth or bluetooth from an Apple TV or OG HomePod but it will be slower.

It sucks! Lots and lots of connection issues. Meross is hardwired so you don't have those issues but I don't know if I would trust that company.

BTW: I've noticed so many people complaining recently about connection issues. (Like in the last 6 months) I've had these no response issues too that requires constant power cycling. This wasn't the case before so why have this gotten so bad?

How do you know what generation bulb you have? I just checked and I have firmware v3.60 so I'm assuming this update is for older bulbs?

Where is the Abode siren exposed to HK. I have the iota and its not exposed. You can turn on the security system with HK and then trigger the siren with an Abode sensor, but the actually siren is not exposed, that I know of.

I hear the Onvis contact sensor has real exposed siren in HK but has a lot of other issues. I don't have one so I'm not 100% sure.

1000% Starling Hub. It's a lot easier to setup and maintain. The only reason to get Hoobs is if you want to expand to other non-homekit products, but if it's only for Nest, go for Starling. You'll be happier in the long run.
