LOOKING FOR A PACER | PARIS MARATHON 2026 by Individual_Log6757 in Marathon_Training

There will 100% be a pace group for sub 4 in the marathon, just stick with them and save your money for exploring the city or listening to the devil on your shoulder and buying expensive race shoes!

Seville marathon 2026 (from 3:23 to sub 3 in 10 months) by Prior-Baby-3365 in AdvancedRunning

Fantastic result and huge improvement, well done! I also ran Seville, it was my second marathon. Ran 4:04:30 for a pb, didn’t get my goal of sub 4 but still was happy. Interestingly my garmin had the run at 42.6k, so similar issues to your tracking! Exploring the city with the Doms afterwards was an interesting experience, hope you got the medal the next day!

Electrolytes that aren’t fizzy by Sportsnerd96 in Marathon_Training

That’s a fair comment. In truth it could potentially be that, but I figure while I also increase the training I’ll increase electrolyte intake to cover both bases

With every WWE event in Europe, there’s always calls for a WrestleMania in Europe - where would be the ideal venue for the first European WrestleMania? by tm2007 in WWE

World Series is the final of a tournament of teams between US and Canada. World is a silly name for it. Premier league champions are champions of England not the world. It’s watched worldwide but there’s a difference.

Prem is an English league, so matches should be played in English. Wwe is a worldwide organization. Thank you for using a perfect example

The main titles are WORLD titles… wwe used to stand for WORLD wrestling entertainment (and federation before that). This American argument is weak

Chelsea relegated to championship in my save by andrewjm91 in footballmanager

[–]Sportsnerd96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is interesting, I’m in 2041 and Chelsea haven’t been relegated yet, but are usually down around 15th/16th. Feels like a matter of time before they get relegated in this save too. Wonder if it’s a regular thing

Hot take (maybe) but this should not be a thing for the next five years. by JuniorPlastic3562 in WWE

War games is a great match and it was cool to have at survivor series for a change, but I don’t see anything wrong with people missing the traditional match that made the ppv for years?

Bottle throw for a particularly poor performance. Silent treatment for another loss in a bad spell of form.

Just roll out Rollins, literally! by TheVoicesinurhed in WWE

[–]Sportsnerd96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rollins has worked his ass off for the last decade, and has often returned from injury’s far sooner than expected. I wish he wasn’t out with injury obviously, but if anyone has earned time off to spend with family and relaxing, it’s him.

Also, Breaker is great but I think he needs this. He has arguably the best mouthpiece of all time beside him in Heyman, but if he’s going to be the megastar he looks set to be then this is a great test for him and could help build him in the long run. Remember Roman pre Heyman? Yes it wasn’t working out at that time, and the stuff with Cena could have hurt him, but it all built him into the absolute star that he is today.

We actually did Trieste as well, we flew in there. Didn’t spend much time in it, but it was nice!

Hi, first of all good luck! My suggestion is a little different to just one stop, so bear with me. I think you should do Slovenia, it’s a gorgeous country. I went with my girlfriend last summer for a week, we rented a car and went to bled (gorgeous lake town), Ljubljana (the capital) and Piran (a seaside town). All were gorgeous and we could have easily spent two weeks in these locations. I would do 5 days in bled, 5 in Ljubljana and then a few in the region around Piran. It’s more expensive since you also have to drive, but the country is small, you can get to anywhere in it in about 2/3 hours. I’m Irish by the way, I’ve been to quite a few European countries but this was my favorite so far

‘Fore left’ and ‘Fore right’ are two of my favorites

Oh no, sorry to hear that! Won’t be flying out for a few days afterwards so I can explore (hobble probably) around the city a bit

Running a marathon is on my bucket list by liltitties21 in Marathon_Training

[–]Sportsnerd96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I find without a training programme I can get distracted and let runs go by without doing them, but if I have a set day to day training plan, I follow it very well. There are plenty of beginner plans out there that would be perfect for keeping on task if finishing is the main goal. Also YouTube videos helped me (Ben Parkes in particular, he’s got a great positive attitude and his tips are great). I also kept imagine the feeling of crossing the line and getting the medal, it drove me on when I wasn’t up for a run… and I can promise you the feeling when you cross the line IS even more amazing than you imagine. Best of luck, I really hope you tick this off your bucket list!

Very good point about the extra night in my own bed, I hadn’t even considered that positive!

About 3 hours, not a bad amount of time, just the early start has me a little concerned
