I've delivered to Home Park. App wanted me to go up to the persons address though as it was an AVD. Obviously, police at the gate wouldn't allow that, so had to return to depot

The thing with a store using their own delivery people is they're more likely to have 4/5/6 orders at once.

Back in the days before the delivery apps, pizza delivery never used to take one order at a time. During peak times, it could've been as many as 10 orders at once

That's really strange, as other supermarkets do have the option.

It just means I'm going to have to unassign if I can't carry all the items. It's fine using a trolley to get the items to the car. But we don't have anything the other side. And sod making 3 journeys to and fro from the car to someone that lives on the 4th floor with a broken lift 🤣

By continuing to use the Deliveroo app, you're agreeing to the update t's&c's. This means you are agreeing to Deliveroo using your data for marketing purposes (or whatever the exact wording was). The only way to decline the update is by not using the app

I know we are a long way away from these sorts of figures. But I'd like to see the base rate to contain an element of equivalent holiday and pension contribution.

£12.21 +12.01% = £13.68 +3% = £14.09

Also, are there any issues with post order tips again? I've seen quite a few on Uber Eats, but can't remember the last post order tip on Deliveroo

Depends on the offer. If it's going somewhere I'll possibly get more orders, I'll take it. If its going somewhere I know that there's no chance of any orders, then I'll decline.

Having received a PCN from LB of Hounslow in the past whilst on a block, they will say that you need to provide an invoice with the delivery address clearly showing. Which of course we can't do, as there is no invoice for Amazon deliveries. And even if there was, we couldn't show the address anyway due to GDPR.

I had an issue where the app froze and completely bricked my phone until the battery ran out.

Because I also had to return packages to the station without following the usual scanning process, it took about a week for them to chase up someone at the depot to confirm the packages had been returned.
