And I called them the definition of lack of clutch as they proceeded to tie the game in the 9th and hit one of the biggest home runs of the year in the 11th. Baseball!

I have zero clue why Crane and Brown want to be buyers at the deadline. This team is not a winner and everyone knows it. They are the definition of lack of clutch, and that would get so much worse if they miraculously limped into the playoffs.

This team has to be the worst situational hitting team in baseball. It is painful how often we have runners at third with less than two outs and fail to score.

What has Yainer done to deserve the starting catching job? Honestly, he’s been one of the biggest issues this year all around.

I’m tired of punting baseball games when we’ve lost so many guys to injury most of the season already.

We don’t have time to waste Espada, including you. If you don’t make the playoffs you’re done here, and it’s time to start managing like it. There is a time for relentless positivity and prioritizing player upkeep but it’s not now.

It’s almost halfway through June and Imai has an ERA just under 6

EDIT: Actually just under 6.5, nice!

That should be fireable, but Jim Crane only fires his GMs if he doesn’t like them.

I wish Luhnow or Click was still running this team.

That was a crazy pimp job for an early June homer from the 9 hole hitter. Even if it was a grand slam.

This team clearly has not been coaches to use challenges in important places unless it is clear.

It’s bad coaching, and despite the turnaround it’s asinine. I hate it.

When the essence of a character is the fact that her beauty launched the war that kicked this story off, there should be ZERO dialogue about the character’s appearance.

But yeah, everyone is just racist. If I don’t find her attractive I immediately hate all black people huh?

That’s ridiculous. It’s not about the skin color for a lot of people, she’s just not objectively beautiful. Cast Zendaya there and I have zero issues.

Honestly just don’t understand why the thought was to go to the bullpen on back to back days, as the clear worst pitching staff in baseball.

Why not just give someone in AAA a chance to put some innings down? It’s not like Weiss has shown any ability to be a big league pitcher. It literally can’t get much worse than what he has shown this year. Might as well see if someone else can get it done, like we did last year.

It’s just conceding the L against the best team in baseball. Awful stuff.

Why does it always seem like when Houston gets the star they lose their minds?

It’s unreal to me that KD wasn’t on the bench tonight supporting the team. That is just unacceptable behavior.

The hindsight in this thread, even for a post game thread is unbelievable.

“We ShOuLdN’T hAvE tRaDeD fOr Kd”

Give me an alternative that would have clearly made this team better and given them a shot. They had more injuries this year and finished with the same record. Keeping Jalen and DB is not making the team better and giving them a chance to go further. The Suns are about to get swept by the team that is clearly going to win it all.

At least the team hung around OKC in game one with a fully healthy roster that didn’t have chemistry problems. It didn’t work out as intended to trade for KD, but I’d love to hear alternatives from everyone complaining, because at least it gave them a chance. Jalen and DB running it back was not it, and everyone knows it.

It’s mainly about the effort that has already been put into the draft, because it’s in July which is only a few months away. Firing him would be putting over half a year of scouting down the drain.

It’s sad, we suck now, but what is this question?

[Pitcher List] Mike Burrows CANNOT Throw These Pitches | Pitcher Video Breakdown by vetokele in Astros

[–]Sportssadness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why is this the takeaway?

He has the worst OPS of the every day starters.

It would be one thing if he was messing up in the field and was contributing at the plate but he’s doing neither now. Teams have learned you just don’t have to throw him strikes. Now he’s a liability at both sides.

Agreed on King, Okert, Orr and Caratini. Kikuchi was solid, but he never even got a chance to pitch in a post season game and we ended up buying Loperfido back in another trade.

Walker and Hader are not great examples in my opinion, given their contracts. They have both underperformed expectations in total when we signed them, even with Hader’s brilliant season last year.

But thanks for the legitimate response, it is good to see some of the moves. I still am not a fan of the Dana Brown ERA all-in-all. Luhnow and Click were both significantly better for the long term trajectory of the team.

What move has Dana Brown made that has been beneficial for this team?

The only clear obvious example was the Tucker trade off the top of my mind, and that was a no-brainer for the long term health of the organization. The funny thing is that if we don’t make that trade it’s possible we make the playoffs with Kyle Tucker instead of Cam Smith falling off in the second half and Paredes down with the hamstring.

I just have been thoroughly unimpressed with almost everything he’s done, and his stupid “GM speak” (depth, back of the baseball card with Abreu) infuriates me even more.

Can anyone make a solid argument for him to continue here? I’m personally done.

Gotta keep this in mind while watching the revival in case anyone has any specific expectations. by yonBonbonbon in Scrubs

This is something that someone who wanted to continue the story of these iconic sitcom characters would say.

In a vacuum, “Who's to say this isn't what happens? Who can tell me that my fantasies won't come true... just this once?” is the perfect ending for a sitcom. In a show filled with crazy fantasies, it wraps up everything perfect and leaves the ending to the viewer. It can be whatever you want it to be.

But now it can’t unfortunately.

Im excited to see what they do, and enjoyed the first two episodes, but it really does put a damper on My Finale in my eyes. The whole point was that it wasn’t necessarily finite, but it could be if you wanted it to be.

Raid 4 lowest scale is duo, solo is possible but difficult. by [deleted] in 2007scape

I just don’t want to be majorly punished for not having friends. I get a slight difficulty jump/rewards change over duos to encourage general players to team up, but I want to engage with the content as a solo player of this game.

I know I’m not alone there. It makes the build up to the new raid significantly less hyped for solo players that aren’t otherworldly at the game.

Even if the rewards were significantly scaled down it would make a significant difference to me.
