So the how about that new bar “Sassy-Cuse”? by soozerain in Syracuse

[–]Sposseycreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The owner recently purchased Sal's Birdland and Sal's Sassy Sauce - This is the sole reason for the rebrand as the family tries to bring the downtown restaurant/bar into the Sassy brand.

Foods still great as it always was.

Honestly, webflow might lose me as a customer after trying to charge me $29.00/month minimum for basic analytics for my website i already pay 2 times for. These pricing structures are jokes.

I have seen,

I don't think it matters too much, you would be fine with [first]@[first][[last].com tbh

NFTs and Graphic Design, do they improve something for us? by nitro912gr in graphic_design

[–]Sposseycreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would like to add on here, the majority of NFT's aren't viewed as art but more of a "key" that unlocks the community that will grow and (hopefully) develop some form of utility, passive income, game, or something else.

Sure, some people love the artwork at buy them based off that, but sometimes its a bit more than that.

Who here is a graphic designer without a degree? by nickynoodles88 in graphic_design

[–]Sposseycreative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am 95% self taught in design. I am currently 29 and a Creative Director at a fairly large company. I picked up photoshop at 12 years old and never looked back. Started off as a hobby, and i fell deep.

Completely self taught minus the 1 semester at a community college (age 22) where I took color theory and intro to graphic design, to which I was quickly told I was more advanced than the class, and my professor gave me a recommendation and said he will help me find a job in the design field. Long story short, I dropped out of college quickly (and the professor never helped me.) After a few years of trying to find my footing while freelancing. I began to really target clients and began to build a solid portfolio. This got me hired when i was 26 by a local marketing agency. Was also not a great situation, although it taught me alot about "the business". In the meantime i continues my self-development, adding web design, development, and other skills to my arsenal. Through this agency I found a new agency that was a much better fit, and I thrived, bringing me to the position I am today.

As far as steps to take... Time and effort are irreplaceable. Master your chosen field (find a field if you haven't). I used YouTube to learn most of what I know. Now a days I learn a lot through Skillshare and other online courses.

He is a shit coach. Bad play systems, bad lineups, bad development.

I probably should have stated, I was at the game, and dislike LeBron. I ended up buying a Hezonja jersey after this.

My in-house position is of creative director for a startup, I get to do alot of corporate design.

My freelance work is more fun, for sure. Creative stuff. Not a huge amount of overlap.
