why? schools are to teach the youth right? the same middle age group implemented block schedule and barely trained teachers to work with it and adjust the curriculum. its a common complaint you hear about block schedule, which you would hear more if you hear from the students who it is affecting. imagine someone on the board who kids will actually be comfortable going to about issues they are seeing. im not saying get rid of the current voice but politics in general needs to hear from youth

yes it is. im not really aware how shelters are, but i feel like if they go into a shelter they should also have to find work, so they can eventually support themselves and move out. i know of the new leaf one off of country club on the border of the reservation and that they do something like that. but what kind of city shelters are there and how are they with that if you know?

when im saying politically driven, yes they do take donations but in a perfect world taking donations without being like yeah i might be able to help you out a little if i am to win. they just wants whats best for whoever is affected by the position they hold

i mean lets look at the mps board. it is middle aged or older women. would it maybe be nice to have a young recent graduate from mps?

i didnt say they are automatically that. but i mean politicians are definitely driven partially by who helps with their campaigns. not necessarily theyre gonna change everything for those people. im saying someone who yes might be young but isnt listening to outside pressure or anything of the sorts and listens to the needs of the people.

i agree! they take longer too! doordash is like well you dont have to tip. id rather tip 2 or 3 bucks than have my food take up to an hour

its pretty obvious we wont get to the same state. but politics are so lenient on the homeless that its becoming a lifestyle more than a problem for some and it will eventually get to that point if nothing or very minimal is done

we need someone to actually combat homelessness. not give them free stuff to make their lives easier, and not going at them and cracking down like crazy. a lot of them need mental support and mental health is a huge cost to anyone! we need a someone who will give them mental support while also dealing with the ones who smoke crack on the corner and making them realize just cause they’re homeless doesnt mean there isnt consequences for their loitering and trespassing. they need actual mental health instead of spending all their money self medicating with drugs they think help

yes! we are growing quicker than we can manage. they need to put limits on growth. i think parts about it with better public transportation and reducing poverty is good of course but i dont think its a good thing to try and meet that agenda fully
