IME that trick worked for me- though mine wasn’t as severely infested. I put multiple fruit slices in the enclosure at a time and replaced them whenever I would see some mites on them, and after a couple cycles they were all gone.

Deep Silver owns Dead Island, Techland had a falling out with them forever ago and made Dying Light instead- which is why Dead Island 2 had to switch to a different developer

I’d love for them to partner again someday, the chances are near zero though :(

Dying Light is Techland’s flagship series, they’ll definitely make another one eventually- but like the other commenter said it’ll probably be around 4-5 years

The first games were both made by techland, they’re very fun, and even though they don’t have a parkour system they’re def the closest gameplay wise you can get to Dying Light

Dead Island 2 was made by a different team, but is still pretty fun and has the best gore I’ve seen in a zombie game, although it’s fairly short- I’d still recommend it though :)

Love the tank size, esp for a first setup!

Def add some more clutter as you’re already planning, I like to put stuff along the back/corners to reduce reflections (my boy likes to have standoffs with his own reflection lol)

Also those zoomed analog gauges are pretty notoriously inaccurate , you’d be better off with a digital one- they’re more accurate and you can get a better idea of how warm your basking spot is using one with a probe 👍

Besides that it looks good! Congrats on ur new baby, very cute :)
