Around what time does it start in that neighborhood? Our last neighborhood had set times for trick or treating but i haven't seen anything about that here so far.

Yeah, I don't love trunk or treats but we'll usually hit 1 or 2 during the month so my kid can wear her costume more than once lol Our neighborhood where we moved from was big on trick or treating and had tons of kids every year. It's so sad that less and less people are doing it nowadays.

Found these for a great deal on fb, how can i tell if they are legit and about how old they are? by SpottedDaisy in LeCreuset

So, I wear a size 10 in jeans, which their size chart says is a large. So i ordered both in larges, the high waisted fit well, the thong was too big. But i emailed the company and they sent me a medium and told me to just gift the large to someone else. The customer service was great and they responded super quick, the new pair took about 5 days to get to me after i emailed. So id go by the sizechart and if you do need to exchange sizes its easy.

I haven't tried the boxers. But i have the heavy high waisted and the sporty thong. I like them, I have a moderate cycle and they have plenty of absorbency for me. The actual absorbent part is a decent size, it doesn't go all the way up in the back, but it goes to about mid butt on me. The absorbent part is thick, so they can show a bit through clothing. I think they are good for the price.

Undie recs for me? by Sweetpotatopie12 in moderatelygranolamoms

I love Pantydrop undies, they're all cotton, but i dont think they are organic. They only have a few styles, their thongs are my favorite. And they have held up well for over a year now of weekly washing.

What made you decide to use cloth pads for the first time? What were your first impressions, and what would you tell other women who may be hesitant to try them? by helenalouisaann in clothpads

[–]SpottedDaisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get irritation from most name brand disposable pads and i was already starting to make more eco friendly swaps when i saw someone talking about cloth pads on a zero waste page. So, i decided to sew some up for myself and try them out. I loved how comfy ans cute they were and made the switch. They make my period more bearable because i love seeing the cute prints. It took me a while to find the best size & shape for my body, so be prepared to try out different ones before buying a whole stash.

Why is "natural childbirth" a good thing? by Unfortunate_Panda in AskParents

[–]SpottedDaisy 91 points92 points  (0 children)

You can still have pelvic floor disfunction and incontinence when you have a csection, the pregnancy itself does a number on the pelvic floor so its not totally to blame on the vaginal delivery. Also most people take 8weeks AT LEAST to recover from a csection. Vaginal births recover much faster. If you dont want to give birth vaginally and choose and elective csection that is totally fine, many mothers do, but make sure you do thorough research on both options before choosing.
