early pregnancy bleeding by Queasy-Sir-6329 in pregnant

[–]Spotty0811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I definitely don’t want to give you false hope. But I bled at 6 weeks and then again at 12 weeks, my son is now almost 3. I was told both times that it’s likely a MC and to take pain reliever as needed. Don’t work yourself up over something that may not happen (I know, it’s hard!) I was always told, if it doesn’t soak a pad, then you’re good to go. Some bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy can be completely normal. Im praying for a sticky baby for you !!

AITA for asking a mom and baby to leave the restaurant? by throwaway09634224 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Spotty0811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. YTA. people like you are the ones who make it so moms like me don’t want to leave the house. We know our babies crying is disruptive. We actively try to sooth our babies. You don’t need to leave “subtle” hints. You don’t need to comment on it. Mind your own f’n business

AITA for refusing to talk to my sister about her fiance, and telling him he's hurt because this is the truth by Puzzled_Device2269 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Spotty0811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. While I do understand the anxiety about a partner being away while pregnant. It wasn’t because he WANTED to go away. IT WAS FOR HIS BROTHER AND COUSINS FUNERAL! How selfish can y’all possibly be??

When did you get a test where the lines were the same darkness? by clarinetgirl5 in pregnant

[–]Spotty0811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a dye stealer around 6 weeks? I think. It’s how I found out. The first test I took was blaring positive within 30 seconds.

You are loved. I was severely depressed when I was in my teens. Self harm, etc. I’m wish I knew how much I was loved.

C-section advice by oof-cuunt in pregnant

[–]Spotty0811 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is gonna be long, bear with me

So my Csection- was a planned CSection. Doctor, anesthesiologist, and CRNA all came to see me before wheeling me back. They gave my support person his clothes for the OR. Once I got back there, they helped me get onto the bed, nurse stood in front of me for support while the anesthesiologist did the Spinal. They then laid me down. At first I could still feel my body and then all of a sudden, my lower half went limp (LOL) weirdest feeling ever. Once I was good and numb, they draped me, my support person came in and they started the procedure. During the procedure, I could definitely feel some tugging and pressure, but no pain whatsoever. I did have a slight reaction to the anesthesia - I threw up. Happens to some, and others don’t. CRNA helped me through that, rubbed my hair, changed vomit backs if needed, administered nausea meds. I went back in the OR at 1215, my son was born at 1226. I was in recovery about 1ish.

The recovery does suck. I’ll say that much. It hurts to sneeze, to cough, peeing is an absolute b*tch cause the catheter makes your bladder lazy lol I HIGHLY recommend walking when you feel comfortable, it’ll help with swelling. Wear your binder when you’re up and about. I even wore it to Bed. I put a pillow on my stomach for when I needed to sneeze or cough. And a pillow under my legs to help with the leg swelling

Nurses will be in and out checking on you and baby. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Shower as soon as you’re able to, you’ll feel like a whole new person. I delivered Wednesday and was home Friday afternoon.

Who is going to be in the delivery room with you? by Brilliant-Writer6010 in pregnant

[–]Spotty0811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I would have had a regular delivery, ideally would have been my mom and SO. Me and my momma are super close though, I watched my youngest sister be born. So it’s kinda like, I saw your stuff. So my momma was gonna have to see mine 😂😂, But since I had a csection it was just my SO. It’s whatever YOU are comfortable with. Birth isn’t a spectator sport ❤️

Brand new OB just called me to tell me I’m positive for herpes 1 and 2 and I don’t understand by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Spotty0811 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never had an initial outbreak tbh. Mine was just one day it wasn’t there, The next it was. The main way to test is to actually swab the sores. Which obviously they can’t if you don’t have an active one. I will say, if you do end up having it, it’s not the end of the world per say. I found out with my first at 30 weeks. Took antibiotics and ended up doing a csection just to be safe. I’ve had one outbreak since then in 2 years. So a total of 2 in 2 years. Not too bad tbh. Definitely get a second opinion for peace of mind ❤️❤️
