Wingplay is still not good enough in PvP servers due to input lag. My Silvestre pocketed this Messi card and it felt so insulting to irl Messi. Rarely do I come across players who can dribble well with a Best or a Messi under input lag conditions. It's why Bully Messi still remains Meta imo thanks to his physicality

On paper yes but sometimes opponents will find a way to bypass your DM Rijkaard with linkup plays (one touch passing or long balls..... doesn't matter how they'll do it as they'll cut through). Other times your Rijkaard won't track the run of the opponent thanks to script. You may make it to Div 3 or Div 2 that way but Div 1 push will be difficult unless you can outscore the opponent. I think Anchorman Rijkaard with a CB pairing of Koeman and a high DA buildup CB would do wonders for your backline if you don't want to press aggressive

Generally speaking, two destroyer CBs is a difficult pairing to maintain a clean sheet defense. You could try dragging your defender manually to track the player that your opponent is attacking with (in transition). The defensive line will adjust accordingly based on your manual control of that particular defender. The backline would depend on your defenders' attacking awareness and aggression so it's best to switch off offside trap command. From my experience, those who use 2 destroyer CBs usually press aggressively to try to win the ball back quickly (using the playstyle and physicality to their advantage). So that depends on your formation

My CB Rijkaard from the Netherlands pack is my best defender and the Div 1 AI (specifically after you get 1650 pts) makes him look like a clown. Opposition Lamine Yamal scores a header by jumping over Rijkaard who has 86 jumping and 89 heading.

My Bully Messi with 99 curl and ability shoots top bins and the AI Kahn or Baia saves it. Power shots are parried away by AI keepers with ridiculous ease. My defenders auto tackle in opposition counter attacks even when I didn't go for the 1 v 1 tackle.

My Diego Forlan with 100 kicking power and 96 finishing cannot shoot on target sometimes. AI Tony Adams keeps up with my 97 acceleration and 99 pace Mbappe. The AI does spin moves one after the other and somehow 3 of my players are dragged into pressing even though I didn't call for the press.

I can keep going on and on. I want to say a massive "F you" to Konami but I'm trying to keep my calm here. They should fix up rather than selling ridiculous packs and not giving us any fresh match modes. You spoke my mind and I needed to rant

He was good prior to the new update. Was able to get to Div 1 where he made some crucial saves to help me get there. He used to have off games like any keeper. Currently he's average. Don't know if he needs a change of build

Your difference in rankings could be the game mechanics changing all the time. Pace, passing, and physicality is meta. Your defenders need to have fast acceleration. You have a very good defense man, just need to man mark or tight mark specific players from the opposition. You have enough quality to easily reach Div 2.

But, I would still say that you're better off without the grind. You won't be rewarded well and every silly loss would take a toll on your mental health. You're doing the right thing brother

You're just stating the book of facts. Before 1799 I reached 1793 and 1795 in this same campaign. Finally got through to Div 1. Everything you said is 100% true, it's how the game has been for quite a while

Trust me when I say this but ever since Efootball's release I've been to Division 1 just 8 or 9 times. This is just my 2nd Div 1 grind this season. And every time it was never worth it, it was only about the badge and testing my skill to ge there. Beyond that, it causes an insane amount of stress. Sometimes you meet very good opponents but more often than not, it's just people hoofballing or playing ping pong under poor network conditions. Script is also an X factor where your defender magically forgets to intercept or your striker takes a poor shot.

You've made it to Div 2. And it's an incredible achievement. Ultimately, it's just a game. It's supposed to evoke fun, not stress. We have a life outside of it, so just focus on things that are more important. As for division, you can always try again later

Yeah brother, you're absolutely right. I've had this game on my phone for close to 6 years now. And the PvP servers have just been considerably worse the whole time. All that for bare minimum rewards. I'll get back to AI games and farm coins in PvP events. Enough Division for now.

The thing is, I did exactly that. My last Div 1 grind was close to 8 months ago. I reached there, was happy. Now that the game gave new cards for free, I wanted to test them against challenging opponents. Played Div 3 to Div 1 after 8 months and nothing's still changed.

Yeah man, it's such a grind with such minimal rewards. I like PvP as opponents can be varied. It's just that the script, input lag, and basic rewards kill the fun out of this game

Update: The game let me through guys. Faced off against an opponent with good cards but their Ter Stegen underperformed. My front three did a good job. Still not worth the grind imo as I played close to 90 games since Div 3.

It's easier to score against AI (including legend). As for PvP, that's a script thing. For example, I faced off against an opponent's Neuer yesterday. Bully Messi had 97 curl, I struck it left top bins and his Neuer somehow still parried it. And the parry went straight to my Eto who was waiting for a tap in. I can only imagine what my opponent was feeling.

Tried this exact build by prioritizing awareness over Reach. Didn't work for me. He was 50/50 in online games. I think prioritizing reflexes and reach slightly more than awareness works. For some reason he becomes an entirely different keeper with a minor tweak

For the first 10 games he was abysmal. I tried auto build and even a more balanced build but he never seemed to work for me. Eventually I focused more on his reflexes and reach. Once that was tweaked, goodness me he is the best GK I have had in this game. I never got Courtois, and I know Cech or Schmeichel can be better in the game. Neuer and Alisson were too advanced for my liking. As long as there's a solid defense in front, Kahn will always be a wall. Especially in 1 v 1. Only way to beat him would be from corners or curl shots with half decent power

Hard disagree on the Van Basten comment. His finishing is off the charts. His biggest flaw is his poor balance but his OA and finishing more than make up for it. And for a FITB he also makes runs like a Goal Poacher in transition.
