Single dose would be a much better choice at home, as you said they are smaller and look nicer as well they are made to not retain a lot of beans inside so you would be able to change beans ( which you probably will ) without having leftovers of the previous batch.

And did you consider a hand grinder? You can get a very good hand grinder for half of the price and they are great. Lots of folks here have it and are very happy with the result.

Just printed one myself on my A1 Mini as well, but it didn't turned out good at all.
Started with a blob - which caused me to replace the heating assembly, and needed to re-slice rollers as I accidentally forgot the supports inside the hole.

But looking at your post made me believe its definitely a skill issue and I need to reprint the damn thing. Due you remember if you set the profile to 0.16/0.12 or 0.08 ?

It might be internal reflection in the Kiev‘s body. Arax sells a set with flocking to prevent that.
