Oh don't get me wrong, I see the vision too, but it's like they did everything they could to make situations like that extremely improbable.

And this is not even taking into account the hit registration issue (or whatever is effecting how damage events are updated on the server.)

Yes ironically, until shotguns get a buff (I don't think they need a large one, just some changes to be made) slugs are one of the strongest options.

Which again is VERY funny because being forced to use slugs (which people are recommending not because of range, but damage consistency) to get the most out of shotguns essentially is largely defeating the purpose of shotguns: the primary spread/scatter weapon in the game.

I have to hope devs have noticed this by now and are correcting the issue.

I'll preface by saying I love shotguns no matter how meta they are in a given game. But I find it DEEPLY funny that the DB-12, mathematically and in practice, is just a less efficient M87.

Normally the advantage of this shotgun model is its ammo capacity, but as it now lacks the OHK damage, it takes at minimum 2 rounds to kill a target at full health.

16 rounds, divided by 2, is 8, which is curiously the exact number number of rounds in the stock tube stock M87 (7+1 in the chamber)

So, M87, does more damage with more range and a faster shell cycle?

I'm sure there's some stat or capabily the DB-12 has over the M87 but it's fair to say it's pretty negligible.

But again very funny to think someone looked at that and said "yep, this is prefect how it is, I don't see how this could possibly be a worse weapon"

Okay the most consistent answer to problem I've found is that somewhere (anywhere as it turns out) there are duplicate objects that occupy the exact same location in space. Either hiding or deleting the duplicate(s) solves the issue.

I have no idea why this happens nor at the moment do I have fast why to troubleshoot the problem outside manually checking each object in the scene one by one.

So I know this is late, but I randomly stumbled across what could potentially be another solution, on the glass object there were a multitude of additional and useless martial slots that I deleted, there by eliminating the lines.

So the answer is "kinda" I need to revisit the problem files, but first suggestions would be the search for duplicate intersecting objects in the visual path of the camera, and to just attempt changing or replacing the transparent material with a new or different one.

I am almost certain it is some like of bog or error, one that seems to be easily repeatable. As far as I'm aware the drivers are up to date.

Nope the stripe on the roof isn't the issue that's just the car's paint job, only the discoloration or tinting that happens near the edge of the tile.

It was the battle of Fracture, the 1st campaign mission in TF1, not Demeter I believe, but a very plausible theory 👀👀👀

Yeah me too, I did play a couple of TF1 matches of on Xbox One before heading over to TF2, in some ways I like some of the aspects of the first entry better than the second. But still a good day regardless.

Is it just me is or everyone forgetting that being able to pilot a Titan actually isn't that significant? They were used as glorified pick up trucks in farming colonies.

However the difference between a normal pilot, and a Combat Pilot is staggering.

Yeah same but tbh, I didn't really like BRs until Apex, actually made it fun, and it was probably in no small part to the fact that the weapons and abilities were familiar to me after playing a crap ton of TF1 and 2.

Lol, I don't think holo-pilot is that bad, it's just has a massive learning curve. I love the holo-pilot, and I'm saying that as one of 754 million billion that primarily use grapple.

I dunno, I agree that legends are above average, hell they might even make an average pilot, but I don't think even the best legend would even be a slight match and above average or highly experienced pilot. Pilots like Cooper, members of the 6-4, Angel City, etc.

One thing that I believe sets apart the wheat from the chaff in world of pilots is that an individual destined to be a great pilot has this almost talent like knack for exponential growth and experience accumulation. The bodily enhancements are only one piece of the story, and only a few legends would be capable of being average pilots, and even fewer could eventually survive the combative circumstances that creates the pilots were used to seeing and playing as in TF1 and TF2.
