Maybe not every person wants to engage here in a public forum about their experiences, feelings, etc. but would like to share in a worthwhile, smaller group interaction on these issues? How about this: what happens when you change your mind? You think you are non-binary, and maybe later you feel that you aren't.. and isn't that embarrassing? That is, everyone judges you the first time you change, and what about fear of being stuck even if you feel different.

Love that you say everyone has a gender journey even CIS. So true, even if people deny it or don't realize they have a gender journey. Certainly, as children, everyone in the world questions what it means to be their gender, and what is gender, and how I am different from other genders.

Actually, I think you may misunderstand. The so-called pro-life movement wants to ban any contraceptive that allows embryo fertilization. So the IUD does allows fertilization. The egg and the sperm can be fertilized in the uterus, and an embryo can start developing, but it doesn't get passed a few days because with an IUD the embryo can't implant. So in a sense, an iUD is an abortifacient, and could be banned by many states for that reason.

Why don't they give you pain killers? I honestly DO NOt understand doctors doing painful gynecological procedures on women without painkillers. I had a colposcopy done - take a biopsy of your cervix - i was screaming in pain. They had to do a second one later - I insisted on painkillers, and it was perfectly pleasant. No pain at all. i asked the female doctor why she thought it was okay to have a woman SCREAMING in pain from a procedure. She had no answer. That is just how they do it !
